By looking at the list Bush should be the one at number one for being the worst one ever. Although there were others we will never have a teddy roosevelt in office.

Ok, you can't just put together a piece like this on one of the most famous news sources in the country (nor consider yourself a political scientist) and leave out Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush.
Too partisan...poorly done.

Reagan was the worst president by far. He (with the help of Donald Reagan) was the one that made government and Wall Street into one body. HELLO CORRUPTION.

Obama worst, Bush 2nd worst. That's because together they will have spent THREE TIMES as much as all the other Presidents combined. Bush $5 trillion, Obama about $11 trillion.
Absolutely sickening and a disaster for our grand children saddled with their debt.

In 8 years, Dubya dismantled a nation that was meticulously built for 220 years. When he doesn't make this list, nobody else should.
I am a Texan working overseas now. I've experienced first-hand the global damage to American image and safety that Bush did with the help of Powell and Rumsfield. A blot on Texas really.

I think future articles will name George W. Bush on this list. He brought us into two wars-- one of which most Americans still are unclear of why it started in the first place-- drove the country into a landslide of debt that has never recovered, was caught lying to the public on multiple occasions, technically broke the law but was not impeached, and just came across as a simpleton in general who couldn't control the power he was given. Yes, there were many who hated Clinton, and there are many who hate Obama-- after all, no matter who the president is there are always going to be people who hate them (and modern times seem to be void of truly good politicians anyway, except maybe Cory Booker). However, Bush was hated on all sides-- Republican, Democrat, Independent, other; it was truly rare to meet someone who couldn't wait for him to get the hell out of office. The GOP didn't even have him at any of their major events this election because of the negativity associated with him. No, I think Bush gets the gold medal for worst president of the modern era,

Worst President in modern times: George W. Bush. Reason: Handed considerable power to Corporate cronies, dismantled and defunded essential Government oversight agencies, overly committed U.S. troops to unnecessary ground war of occupation in Afghanistan, invaded Iraq on false pretenses, presided over the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, and through it all - was a public embarassment, often misspeaking and mangling words - projecting a humiliating picture to the world of America, as being stupid and arrogant for having elected him.

I consider GW Bush to have been the worst president of modern American History. His years speak for themselves.
That is, until Obama came to town. Under Obama...our Constitution has been raped: NDAA, HR 347, HR 645...too many EO's to discuss. In a "nut-shell", under his watch...America has become a Fascist Dictatorship, and a 3rd world Banana-Republic. 2012 may very-well be...the final election in America. Watch and see!
