Campaign 2008
Hillary Rodham Clinton
Hillary Clinton has had a career of firsts. She is the first first lady to serve as a U.S. senator. And now she is arguably the first female in American history with a serious chance of becoming president. She is a graduate of Wellesley College and Yale Law School and twice was ranked as one of the 100 most influential lawyers in the country. During her husband Bill Clinton’s presidency, she tried to create a universal healthcare system. Her efforts were unsuccessful. She continues to make healthcare a prominent issue in her campaign today.
