NEW YORK (AP) — Donna Murphy will be singing Stephen Sondheim songs again this summer.

The Public Theater announced Wednesday that the two-time Tony Award winner will play the Witch in its production of the Sondheim-James Lapine musical "Into the Woods" in Central Park.

Murphy will join a cast that includes Amy Adams, Jack Broderick, Gideon Glick and Cooper Grodin.

Murphy received the first of her Tonys in Sondheim and Lapine's "Passion" and got her second in the 1996 revival of "The King and I." She also won Tony nominations for "Wonderful Town," ''LoveMusik" and last year's "The People in the Picture."

"Into the Woods" will begin previews on July 23 and continue for five weeks through Aug. 25. The Public will also be presenting Shakespeare's "As You Like It."
