China has patience! Once they make their mind up to achieve a goal they plan and construct! Even if takes generations. The USA must achieve all goals in 4 year intervals! NOT GOOD!

Better to have China as a working -talking business partner than as an angered neighbor. Before Pres. Nixon China was a very hostile neighbor. Since then China has matured measurably and will continue to do so with encouragement.

Unfortunately China behaves in all the ways described - it is not a communist state or even a socialist one either - it is a Totalitarian Dictatorship that daily murders members of it's own population and summarily arrests and imprisons them without recourse to it's one-sided legal (?) system.
And since this is a thread which is in English it would help if the contributor provided a translation of this gem of Chinese philosophy rather than trying to hide behind the enigma of Chinese Script.

China now is no longer a developng country, much less one of
the underdeveloping ones...... And U.S. is under pressure of
,although one of the world leaders, crusing the terrorists in
abroad, particularly in Afganistan..
We Americans believe China could now share some of its wealth
with others, especiallay with underdeveloping countries., And
perhaps further share some of the burdens of U.S. fighting
against the Taliban for the sake of the world peace.
In this respect, it is my belief that we Americans consider
China as one of our friendly countries along with India and
other Pacific nations.
Pledging $1,000 billion dollars per annum for coming decade by
U.S.for the global Climate change by President Barack Obama
must interprete in China that she also consider doing some
adequate part to lessen the natural disaster..!!
We Americans sincerely hope and pray that one of these days
China would come to stand side by side with the United States
and other free world to fight against our common enemies,,,,
the disasters caused by man....!!
