The biggest thing the developing world could do to help itself, and the rest of the world is work on reversing their population expantion! Most of the industrialized world is in decline in numbers, if the rest would follow this trend, why in a hundred years we would all have a cleaner, more health planet!

Unless they, do, we are in for one hell of a mess!

Amen,

It will be sad if those who have convened in Copenhagen leave with little or nothing accomplished. And it will be more of a shame if the U.S. departs Copenhagen not having led in producing a real outcome. We're big users of energy, big producers of emissions, and big phonies when it comes to leading by example in the climate change/global warming debate.

When it comes to hard issues that will affect us, we pull the old do-as-we-say, not do-as-we-do game. Our self-interest has long been our compass in international affairs, and the world has suffered in one way or another because we carry a big stick instead of expressing sincere interest in change HERE for a better world. Bite the bullet? Us? Not if it means adjusting our standard of living as the example for everyone else.

Selfishness isn't much of an example--not in Copenhagen or anywhere our long shadow is cast.

Ship all of the Democrats to underdeveloped countries and let them tax and spend their way to prosperity there----ha!

They want to reduce the USA to the equivalent of an underdeveloped nation and they are well on their way with their tax and spend ways in the first few months of this terrible administration.

I'd love to see old Pelosi scratching out some impoversished existence in a 3rd world country and get the silver spoon out of her despicable, botox-enhanced mouth!

Every country has duties on the climat change, especially the developed countries. If we want to leave a lasting world to our children, we should take an action now. The developed countries should do more things for this.

If Wahabists ,radical Shia are racing the other to get their hands on a nuclear weapon from Pakistan or North Korea with which to blow it all to kingdom come-why do these liberals want me to my trusty 240 Volvo? If you want save the planet...get rid of moslems.
