The Gulf of Mexico is dying from the fertilizer run off coming down the Mississippi River.

Could this run off be channeled into seaweed production? This would help clean up the Gulf and the seaweed would be bio mass which could be converted to energy.

It is pathetic that our Energy Secretary ignores Nuclear Energy, the most promising source of clean and economic energy available to us today. When the President and the Senate majority leader declare our nuclear waste storage solution to be "dead" without considering the $13 Billion of tax payer's funds invested, nor the scientific opinions of the experts who did the research and experiments to validate the Yucca Mountain facility as a safe long term storage facility.

Stop ignoring our existing solutions, because they are not "politically correct"

Chu needs to get out of policy and get back in the lab. I'm not knocking the guy - but he belongs in the lab, not worrying about Snowflake the Polar Bear.

He made some great progress in superconductivity. Get it to room temperature and our energy issues are a thing of the past.

It would be very helpful to know how to apply for an Advance Research grant application from Secretary Steven Chu's agency. Is it possible to email the form to be completed or can one write to a specific office address for such form to be sent by snail mail?
