How can Jindal, a Muslim turned Catholic, be the new GOP leader? We Republicans just tried to save US from a muslim, and the mainstream media elected Obama. God help us all! So why would we elect another muslim? Is the media dictating Jindal is the GOP candidate?

SARAH PALIN IS A JOKE HA HA WHEN I SEE HER I BURST OUT LAUGHING

John McCain has run a terrible campaign and mishandled Palin. He is entirely responsible for his campaign's poor performance. His desperate and dishonest ads now airing show he lacks character as well as judgment. He has ruined his reputation. He has become another loser willing to tell any lie if he thinks it is to his advantage. It isn't.
Sarah Palin was a breath of fresh air when first picked, but it didn't take long to discover she lacks the intelligence for the job. Katie Couric showed it in five minutes. One wonders how McCain missed this.

A website that is 'non-partisan'... as if there is a single living entity that could make such an absurd claim. I swear, Americans are becoming the stupidest bunch of drivel believing blithering idiots in all of creation.

There certainly is a lot of 'information' about Sarah Palin out there. I already know how I feel about John McCain but I need some unbaised, factual information about Sarah Palin. I have a site to recommend if you are looking for the same.
It has in-depth links to hundreds of articles about Palin including many from newspapers and TV stations in Alaska. It has lots of rare footage, including her telling the ‘08 convention of the Alaskan Independence Party, whose aim is to give Alaska a vote on seceding from the U.S., to “keep up the good work” - and her complaining four months ago that Hillary Clinton was whining about “sexist” media coverage.
The site is non-partisan and its’ editors and volunteers include an Emmy-award winning CNN reporter, the former operating editor of the Christian Science Monitor’s web site, the former head of NPRs News Blog and the Executive Director of the Online News Association -

They have compiled an amazing amount of info on Palin. I recommend reading it.
And we'lll see what election night will bring.

Obviously I touched a sensitive emotional nerve with you two girls, huh?
Next time try to keep your jealous outrage a little more subdued lest you continue to prove my point.

Even if you are one of those people who believe that Palin's a
'diva' or a 'whackjob' that lacks the skills to be a vice president or potential president, it's hard to blame her for the struggles of the McCain campaign. She didn't pick herself for this role, John McCain did. The fact that his choice doesn't pass muster ultimately reflects more on his judgement than any of Sarah Palin's policy positions or inability to answer questions.

If all of this critical analysis had been done on Sen Obama then he would not have passed muster and Hillary would be the first in the White House. There is a double standard, what is your excuse for Joe the gaffe machine. If Palin said what Joe said the media would be all over it as they should be. Remember all of us watching FDR on the TV waiting for an intl crisis to test this man.

I think the comments about people "whining" about the clothing mess are interesting. Normally, I would not care about what was spent on a candidate's clothing any more than I cared about John Edwards' $400 haircuts back in 2004. The problem is not the clothing itself, it's the hypocrisy of building up Palin's image as the "working woman hockey mom shops-at-consignment-stores just like you" candidate, and then dressing her like a fashion queen. Either her handlers are simply being dishonest, or were too stupid to realize that the gap between "I'm just like you" and "For the next six weeks, I'll be wearing clothes worth 5x your annual salary" is too wide for most people to get over. Stack it next to her inability to name a single Supreme Court case she disagrees with (couldn't she at least have gone with Roe v Wade?), a single newspaper she has ever read (couldn't she have named Anchorage's paper?), or her ignorance over what a VP does or what the Bush Doctrine is, and you've got someone extremely unpalatable even to many conservatives.
I want the Republican party back -- come on, let's get rid of these witch-fearing, hate-mongering, neocons!
