John McCain has lost it. His recent a=tice make me realize his snap judgments, nasty attack ads and selection of the ditsy Sarah Palin make him unfit to lead. Why can't the guy deal with the issues and stop being out of control at every turn. I would NEVER vote for this maniac.

A common theme I keep seeing is that McCain would be a great leader because he is a war hero and a leader of men. I have always had a real problem with this. What is his military record anyway. He crashed his plane and was captured. A great general once said that the goal of a soldier is not to die for your country but to get the other guy to die for his. This is even more true in being captured and becoming a bargaining chip of the enemy, a bargaining chip even if you don't "confess". So what great military experience is he supposed to bring to the job, teach our troops how to be captured? I supported General Weasly in 2004 and had respect for Kerry's military record. He actually did lead men, he actually did complete his mission, and he actually did get them and himself back. McCain did not lead, he was a pilot, and his military record is one of failure, not success. I have empathy for the horrors he went through as a prisoner, but still that does not make him a great military leader? And this after the republicans dissed Karry who really was a hero.

It was your senior with a bit of Alzheimers, John McCain, Bush2 that pushed for deregulaltion, saying we needed less government in our lives. He pushed until he got it thru, and Bush did not veto the bill. Now he says we need more oversight, but when we had it, he pushed until he succeedd in getting it out of the picture. Talk about a flip flop. How can anyone wiith a brain look at the last 8 years and say we need more of the same? Speak of being uninformed!

Love to see that every politician's a liar and anyone who believes that one party is to blame is ignorant. I take no soliace in the fact that for the past four years and the last eight... my own views of politics became the nightmare I might have expected...we got what we deserved. You vote'em in...you live with them. The Republican party and our current President...leave us quite a legacy. Only history will record the "great good" that their actions have done for society and what an "inheritance" it has left for our children and future generations. My fear is that the Republican salaciousness for war on two fronts and McCain's committment to fight for another 100 years...will create our demise. Ten billion dollars a month..goes a long way in helping resolve the stigma thrust upon us. We "the people"...continue to sit back and watch our resources and our "freedoms"...that we say we cherish so much...
simply go by the way side to support Iraq and others...while "our own" suffer. Get real !
Consider cleaning house...starting with a Republican President and the "Son of Bush"...McCain III term...then conservative Republicans...who vote to protect their own re-election. If they took a stand to save us...maybe their stand will destroy us. All I know is... our future lies in our hands...we need to take control of our own destiny. Washington and Wall Street do not reflect "every man"...just some. If you haven't already...get out and register to vote...then "just do it."
No matter..the outcome...you become a participant...not just a "victim." The end of the world as we know it might be October 6th. if no one cares to make the difference.

As a 60 year old American I've mused a great deal lately about infancy, youth, maturity and the great slide back to stardust. One of the things that I've noticed in myself and others is that the older humans become, the more they slide back to the ways of their youth, to infancy, and finally, to Stardust.
Mr.McCain's actions during this campaign demonstrate reasonably clearly that he has regressed to somewhere between 8 and 10 years old. Anyone who has ever watched the actions of 8-10 year old boys knows that they are illogical, furtive, prone to outbursts, dangerous (to themselves and others) and act just plain dumb. They are also needlessly loud.
(Do you see a pattern here?)
Little boys are very prone to pointing their fingers at everybody else in the room in transparent attempts to blame anyone, everyone else for their miscreant behaviour and lies. When they do stuff like that, Mom will say to them,"Your guilt is written all over your forehead!". Mr McCain could write a novel on HIS over-generous forehead (and no, John, you can't wipe it off).
(How about here?)
Little boys love to put little girls in awkward, embarassing positions, too. It shifts the focus of attention away from themselves so that the little boys can be as dumb as they like. Hopefully the adults won't notice because they'll be too busy fawning over the damaged little girl.
(C'mon, you MUST see one by now!)
Hey, old guys and girls, Look back at Mr. McCain's pronouncements and actions of the last 400 days, think of little boys, and you will see a pattern emerge. It's true, we want a STAR in the White House but really now, Stardust?

Is everyone ignorant or just ancy to ignore the FACTS? Hasn't anybody studied up on what led to the economic crisis we're in right now? Was it not the Republicans who were pushing adamantly for regulation and reform for companies like Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae? Is it not Barney Frank and his fellow Dems that said more regulation was not necessary? The answer is YES. For anyone who cares to put partisan meandering aside and look at the facts of what has happened, you will see that Dems in Congress are primarily to blame for where we're at right now. Joe Biden and other libs were licking their chops at being able to put pork in the bailout bill. JUST LOOK AT THE FACTS- what is black and white and in writing. That's all you have to do. How else would ACORN get money allocated to them in the bailout bill if not for libs who were more concerned with filling their pockets and making their liberal buddies wealthy? You want more of this? Because that's what Obama and Biden will usher in. Bigger government, socialist policies, lying, cover ups...etc. Was it not OBAMA who threatened to shut down a radio station in Chicago if they aired interviews with two people who had different views about his career and policies? Was it not the Obama campaign and the sheriff and lead prosecutor in Missouri who have threatened to PROSECUTE people for promoting what they view as lies or distortions about Obama? This is the modern day era of the Gestapo- courtesy of Barack Obama. Will people wake up and realize that socialism doesn't work? Barack Obama is a liar and a fake. Libs in congress are liars and corrupt.

As a rule of life, I look very closely at all politicians. This is the eleventh president to to be elected in my 40+ years. I've found that each time the party changes in the White house the Democrats always inherit a financial nightmare or Republicans make a bad situation worse. I have no trust in mccain simply because he HAS been in the senate for soo long. He has had plenty of time to make changes and none of his changes benefitted main street. There is no reason to trust that he will do so in the future. His choice of running mate has certainly erroded that even more. He continues to lie and point fingers to push attention away from his "mad dash for nothing" to Washington. The world is watching as our candidates make a mockery of our elective process, we admit that we are racist enough to hold back from those different from ourselves, and our current president's last eight years have brought us to economic ruin. Thats not exactly the image I want the world to see my nation as. Not even close.

Mcshame just is showing how much he really cares about the Americans(LIE,LIE,LIE,ATTACK,ATTACK,ATTACK,) That is all Mcshame and Palie, yes Palie, that is all this women know what to do. John should be ashame of himself for acting like a child last week, He also proves what a lier he is,wasn't it yesterday that he was taking creidt for passing the bill?? and what a lies it showed him to be when there was no bill passed?? dfMcshame just doesn't know what to do, he is too old he can't6 remember things and that scare me because if anything happen to him Palie would be our President, she doesn't know anything that about being the president. Why doesn't shewant the investagationto go on what is she really hidding?? She is a very good lier, and she suppose to be Christaine?? she must of not be a very good exsample to her kids when both her daughter and son were caught doing drugs andthen her daughter is prenagant, and boyfriend said he doesn't want kids now he isbeing forced to marry this girl all for show. Palie and Mcshame are big HYPOCRITES. just like these so called Christaine.Just like the bible said false religions during the last days.

Just checking...do yo mean moving to Washington to support a bailout of CEOs and Wall Street schemers or a by partisan attempt to salvage "Main Street" citizens....of which McCain was unable to do...either. Another "grandstanding" ploy at doing nothing...talk is cheap. When the "poll" numbers are down...last ditch efforts to save us all...need action...not words. I'll take a first term Senator over a die-hard political insider ...any day. The key word of the day is...change. McCain represents nothing but "old" Republican rethoric and older
and stagnant ideals. I'm tried of hearing about what McCain did for us in the past...what's he doing for us now. The only "reaching across the aisle" he's doing now is to save the "hines" of the fat cats of his party and to "inflate" his ego and "demagogue" opinion of himself and his political prowess.

I am a democrat voting for Mccain. I did'nt know you vote for a candidate based on what he/she has done in the last 3 days. McCain moving to Washington indicates he cares more about the country than his campaign which is something Obama has not done yet. During hard economic times I don't want a lst term senator running the country.
