Michael wants abortion clinics closed, but they help us taxpayers. I've paid taxes since 1941 and dislike being taxed to subsidize unmarried religious poor moms who refuse to abort. I want those dads to suffer the cost & work of parenthood. It costs $500,000 to give taxpaid welfare, ADC, health care, food stamps & subsidized housing to one such mom and her child to the age of 18. But abortion is cheap. To ten weeks, an abortion costs less thah $800. Subtract that from a half-million, and we taxpayers are saved $499,200. So let's have taxpaid abortions and at last bring down the huge cost of welfare for parasitic unwed religious moms who expect God (us) to pay their way.

Issues we have in the world today.

Food shortages (Safe ,chemical free, food)

Water clean, safe

global climate issues. the air we breathe

What produces a terrorist? could it not be the children who want to survive as much as you do?

Think of it ..right now 5 1/2 million deaths in the congo.

Disease, Famine, more extreme global disturbance

Life is not all about money!! Is it?

Suddenly the money is gone. Did the poor people cause the rich to lose their

money?

Remember the parable of the loaves and the fishes. Give and to you shall be given.

Do not fear. Remember what so ever you do unto one of the least .. you do unto yourself also.

Did your mother not share her being and body and self so you would live?

Surely she did. Or you would not be here.

The sharing the wealth you speak about is meant for the extremely wealthy who can afford to share. The top 1 to 2 %.

The Warren Buffets and Bill Gates who are giving vast sums of money away as they do not need all off it.

I lived through the great depression. I was the last of nine children. I remember having one orange for christmas.

As george washington said during the bleakest of times . We will all hang together or we will die together. We have always sacrificed together. I grew up before antibiotics, when tuberculosis, measles, polio, diptheria, whooping cough

raged through our country. Remember the life you save may be your own.

Or do you think you can eat and drink and breathe money

Those who have fought sacrificed and died for you. They gave their LIfe! Can we not spare a DIME?

i believe obama doesn't care a thing about spirituality of any kind or any kind of biblically moral choices and decisions as much as he'll care about attempting to end poverty by distribution of wealth.this insane thinking that poor people should have as much as the pc programmer does,etc..and that people in poverty should be able to have as much as the guy that recieves a good pay check ,is just that..insane!! i believe that obama's going to attempt at bringing poor people, blacks in particular, out of the ghettos and into the center of the middle class areas(much like HUD was trying to do at one time)and that would be a horrible mistake.those are only a few of the problems i believe we'll have to deal with with obama as president. correcting the wrong that whites did to blacks/i excpect him to turn out to be an affirmative action president in every manner and form ,the workplace, education, neighborhood demographics,etc...diversity isn't worth it when it comes down to mixing a lower class level of people into a middle and higher class, because of the difference in lifestyles. my apartment complex is a good example of this.if it was as diverse as HUD would like it to be,it wouldn't be the nice, clean and quiet place that it is./ getting a bunch of money thrown at you suddenly or being given a nicer place to live in ,doesn't change one's bad behaviour ,i just believe that obama has alot of hidden agenda/

Good for you! The reasons you articulated are why Obama will never win the Heartland.

Frances - I agree God is not a Republican. Neither is he a Democrat. He is a benign Dictator... All we can do is try to be on his side. However, the New Testament does tell us to be good citizens. In a Democratic Republic, this responsibility includes voting wisely.

I am not happy with either of my choices, but a vote for McCain will probably give me a chance to vote for President Palin in four years. She has more executive experience than the other three (McCain, Biden, and Obmama) put together. Any man who was against his state's born alive act (and Obama was the only state senator to oppose it) lacks the judgment to be in charge of our nation.

Do you want someone that has a Preacher that has made idiot, and demeaning statements,

( like "G D America" ) and the fact that he doesn't care about protecting Israel, and is is pro abortion? That's what Obama offers. And he's an elitist----> ELITISM

e·lit·ism [ i l tìzzəm, ay l tìzzəm ]

noun

Definition:

1. belief in concept of superiority: the belief that some people or things are inherently superior to others and deserve preeminence, preferential treatment, or higher rewards because of their superiority

2. belief in control by small group: the belief that government or control should be in the hands of a small group of privileged, wealthy, or intelligent people, or the active promotion of such a system

3. control by small group: government or control by a small, specially qualified, or privileged group

e·lit·ist noun, adjective

It is known tha 98 % of blacks are going to vote for Obama.. So what group is really the prejudice ones huh? And they are waiting for a free pass if Obama gets in.. And Hollywood backs Obama cause Hollywood needs a Liberal to protect their abundance of immoral movies,tv shows, and any of the sex related ads you have to deal with on the airways, and not mention same sex marriage.. So Obama will lead us more towards destruction, and the above there mentioned. I know we have a horrible choice on both sides.. But my deciding factor goes with the one with most moral beliefs..

It is my belief that it was the evangelical vote that helped put Bush in the White House the first time and the fear of attack upon our nation from “infidels” that put him there the second time. Bush’s platform was “Family Values”, and many churches mouthed it from the pulpit. Saying, we must put a leader in the White House who honors God. The catch phrases that Bush used in his campaign (or should I say bait and hook phrases) are still out there and I’ve heard them coming from the current republican candidate John McCain. One saying is, “I believe life begins at the moment of conception”. The biblical reference to Christians are true, we are like sheep led to the slaughter, following behind “Bush” someone in whom we thought was a shepherd, instead we followed a liar and a thief. Many Democrats and Independents voted for Bush because of what he touted as his belief. Churchgoers listened to the lies echoing from the pulpits as local and certain celebrity preachers endorsed Bush’s stance. These puppet preachers where probably hoping to be an advisor to the president, or perhaps vying for some additional recognition or perks from his administration. Christians need to wake up. Listen with your heart and spirit! I for one will NOT be voting for another wolf in shepherd’s clothing, I will not be voting for the lying McCain and Palin ticket. I could care less what they say because; I am looking and seeing what they do! The contradictions in their lives are enormous.

The Baptists say "Thanks, but no thanks to that pew in the Pentecostal church."Sarah Palin is shooting at their elephant- now John McCain is running around throwing Hail Marys on his way down, saying bringing her onboard was a big mistake. No wonder they won't let her speak to the media- " Putin is flying around over Alaska." It is like hearing someone speaking in tongues. I don't look to see much of Sarah Palin unscripted ever again. Yes, somewhere in Alaska there's a village missing an idiot.

I am Christian, born again at 13 years and currently 30 years old and will not be voting for McCain. I do not believe God is Republican or Democrat, but one thing I know is that he does not like dishonesty as the McCain camp keeps doing. He does not like deceit, Greed, Corruption as we are currently experiencing due to bad leadership etc. In addition, I believe the single devisive issue is abortion which will never be overthrown as more Americans are in favor of this choice, so Christians PLEASE stop voting republican for this one single issue- You keep electing bad leaders who are lying to you to get your vote- Did God tell you honestly to only vote on abortion? Some of the leaders you are electing are putting us in wars, economic crisis etc.

Roe Vs. Wade is currently the law of the land that the Supreme court holds and it needs to be obeyed or you can move to a Christian only nation which you and I know does not exist, and will not exisit until Christ comes again.

Finally its is okay to be pro-life but in everything so as to not become a hypocrite. I am pro-life but pro-life for everything i.e. poverty, our planet life, kids dying in Iraq life, our innocent soldiers life, equal healthcare for the born children life etc. I believe Jesus would do the same. He was simple and for all everyday people.

Amy of CA 8:23AM September 26, 2008

I am an evangelical Christian. I believe Matthew 25 says that how we live, not what we say, determines our eternal fate. I believe that helping the poor and unfortunate is a mandate of the Bible with many more verses on that topic than on sexual purity, idolatry, etc.

McCain dishonored marriage by his behavior with multiple women, include his current wife Cindy, while married to his first wife. It is hypocrisy for people who condemned Clinton for his sexual behavior to support and endorse McCain. BTW, it is known that he has cheated on Cindy too. And she would be not only First Lady, but First Adulteress!

McCain and Palin have told and retold lies, even when the truth has been pointed out. Palin supported the bridge and took the money!

Obama did not say there are many gods. He said their are many ways to the same God. That reference is to denominations and independent churches and the different beliefs that they show.

Some come to God through the influence of parents, some through exposure to evangelical preaching, some through reading the Bible, some through one to one witnessing, some through trauma, some through seeing the evidence of God in the natural world, etc.

I will be voting for the true Christian in this campaign. His name is Barack Obama. I will not vote for the convenient but non-Christian adulterer and liar who favors the wealthy over the poor and the powerful over the weak. Read Matthew 25 and live and vote accordingly.
