Well, I wasn't impressed with Palin at all, and I'm tired of the media telling me I am supposed to just because she's a woman. She came off sounding a like a smug and arrogant cheerleader type, did a horrible job of delivery, and did nothing but parrot the same old republican one-liners. From what I've read regarding her policy, she's a right-wing lunatic - and I mean way out there in crazy-land.
She's just not that great and should be yesterday's news. Get over it media people.

Yes, I totally noticed this too - it was bloody obvious. I called my friend in Denver, and before I could say anything HE brought it up.
It was the worst of all when Bush spoke. It would start and stop almost immediately, as if some amateur audio engineer was turning up and down the volume of the taped applause quickly.
So far, not one person in the media has mentioned this, and you'd think they'd be the first to do so, since they are really aware of taped laugh/applause tracks.

Brits Donossian, that's what a debate is all about - attacking and making your point proven that the candidate is unfit for the job. I HOPE and KNOW Biden will mess with her and belittle her, and if he does, then she's come unprepared. Biden is a fighter and WILL rip her to shreds. And you know what? She deserves it. After all the uncessarily things she has said about Obama during her speech, I'd be more than thrilled to see her get owned. Unlike Palin, Biden actually has some class and won't use the fact that she's a woman and her personal life against her unless its significant to the issues.
Palin is comparing her experience as a first term governor and her time spent as a member of PTA and city council as opposed to being a US SENATE?!?!?! REALLY NOW???
No, neither candidate on the Republican ticket has anything to offer. They continue to claim that "change is coming," but they're not telling us HOW or WHEN it is. You know why America? If you're happy with our economy sinking further and further down the drain, seeing people losing their lives (and those losing loved ones) over in Iraq, people unable to afford health care, etc. then go and vote for your heartless John McCain. When you're in the position of needing help that could have only been given if Obama was President, you're going to wish you voted for the right reasons.

What are you talking about saying dems are scared of Palin and that is why Obama raised 10 million dollars after her speech? First of all Obama has been rasing large sums of money. Second of all maybe the money came in because people realize Palin is not the person for the job and feels they want to contribute to someone they feel is for the job. by the way does anyone know how much the plane sold for on ebay and who got the money and how much they got. Now lets mention the bridge to no where, is that the only thing she has to talk about for what she considers an accomplishment. Every speech she brings this up. I think both Palin and McCain has nothing to offer at this time. McCain may have given years of service but he has nothing else to offer. How is he going to improve the environment? How is he going to protect us? How is he going to save homes? How is he going to ensure that everyone has affordable healthcare? I heard McCain say he was going to make sure every American has affordable healthcare but he never said how he would do this and where would the money come from to save the environment? How? How? How? I say all day long that I am going to ensure this and ensure that but how I am going to ensure this or that is another story. Does any of McCain supporters want to know how he and Plain is going to do all these things or are they just want to listen to joke and listen to his military stories over and over. All McCain every talks about at every speech is his military experience and his pow experiece. How is repeating that every speech telling America how he is going to fight healthcare, save jobs, fight crimes on owur streets, save our homes and protect our environment? How? How? How? How? Are people not tried of evry McCain and Palin speech being the same every time. The only thing Palin added to her speech were jokes.
I want a president and vice president to tell me how they are going to fix the environment, fix the housing market, fix healthcare and more, not tell me jokes. A country can't run off of jokes. But having McCain and Palin in the white house would be one big joke. Maybe Palin will tell Iraq jokes to win the war because she sure hasn't said how she plans to win it. How? How? How? Maybe Palin plans to tell healthcare jokes since this is all a joke to her anyway. Palin the joking vice president and the no plan vice president is all I see. Put your work where your mouth is Palin. Tell us something other then jokes. Those who laguh first laugh last.
Can you imagine if Palin was here to fight the vietnam war? She would have told jokes instead of having a plan to win the war. I guess she wants to bring jokes and more jokes to the white house and no plans on how to fix or help this America she claims to love. Maybe she thinks America is one big joke. I sure don't. This is real and not a joking matter. We have issue and still no answers on How. How? How? How?

I read today that Obama raised $10 million after Governor Palin's speech. Why did the Democrats run for their checkbooks? Are they afraid of her? Considering the Rasmussen poll of this morning, they have very good reason to be afraid. It is becoming more and more apparent now that the McCain/Palin team will win come November. And, Biden had better not mess with her and belittle her during the upcoming debate. He will have lots of women attacking him, if he does.

Logically this isn't even a contest. You 've got old man Mcain and his token female sidekick versus "Obama". I can't believe that the repubs even have the gall to wish upon a star for victory after the past few years, and this is their best!? I nearly laughed off some important accessories during the convention the other night when Mrs. Bush in referring to her hubby's accomplishments said "now there's change you can believe in!" How deluded are these people to attempt to brag on the WORST president in the history of stupid. Not the country, but the history of the term stupid!VOTE ANYTHING BUT REPUBLICAN, even if it means getting over your own personal garbage to do it.
