Obama

Obama's national director of religious affairs, Joshua DuBois, the stepson of an African Methodist Episcopal minister, heads up Obama's effort to win the support of values voters—one of the most intensive campaigns ever by Democrats to woo people of faith. A recent addition to Obama's campaign, Shaun Casey, an associate professor of Christian ethics at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C., will help hone Obama's message to white evangelicals; he advised John Kerry in 2004, trying to get the candidate to rely less on Bible verses and speak more comfortably about his faith. Mark Linton, a former Obama Senate staffer, is the campaign's national Catholic outreach coordinator, reportedly focusing his efforts on Pennsylvania, where the campaign hopes to attract the state's large population of Catholic swing voters.

McCain

McCain's director of evangelical outreach, Marlys Popma, is an evangelical Christian and former head of Iowa Right to Life who served as the campaign's top Iowa staffer before the primary. Through the primary season and well into this summer, the campaign, in a departure from the Bush campaigns of 2000 and 2004, did not have a religious outreach director. Popma took over the effort after the high-profile dismissals last year of two prominent Christian-right activists who said the campaign kept them at arm's length and refused to spend funds on church-by-church organizing. Among the staffers trying to win social conservatives back is Bob Heckman, the national political director of Gary Bauer's 2000 presidential bid, a big-picture adviser who heads up the campaign's efforts to appeal to all conservative groups.

It is not a good idea to have Religious Fanatics and Extremists at the Helm of a Great Power. Be it the USA or any other Powerful Nation.

Moderates are always better. They do not want to impose censorships and to pry into private lives.

I think that extremists in Religion can be the cause of many wars and imprudent actions. They also intrude in your life and produce lower quality in education. They want to impose their ideas on you.

The whole American election boils down to just one (1) and Battle Ground State = Armageddon (literary) = Maryland State.

The One and only issue in this election is: Whether The U. S. Naval Academy should remain in Annapolis, Maryland.

The are only four possibilites:

(1) Obama got elected. Maryland vote for Obama. Naval Academy stay in Maryland.

(2) McCain got elected. Marylad vote for McCain. Naval Academy stay in Maryland.

(3) Obama got elected. Maryland vote against Obama. Naval Academy stay in Maryland. It not feasible for Obama to relocate the Academy because it generate income to the state of Maryland. Many Black live in Maryland. The only thing Obama can do is to send in his secret police and get rid of hid Black traitors.

(4) McCain got elected. Maryland vote against McCain. McCain relocates the Naval Academy. The problem is Arizon is the most arrid or driest place in the U. S. The entire state is a desert and Grand Canyon. How can a Naval Academy locate in a place with no water? So during this election McCain can campaign by saying if him was elected and Maryland vote against him then he will relocate to the state where there is plenty of water. So where else but the Great Lake and Illinois. McCain can also suggest other Great Lake states such as Ohio, Michigan, New York, Wisconsin, or Minnesota depending on who are going to elect him. So people in Illinois will vote for McCain and Maryland will have no choice but also vote vote for McCain. Since Maryland is the Black Capital near the nation's Capital and Illinois is a Black State, if Obama loses there, then their is no way he can win this election. The main issue and prize for this election is nothing else but the Naval Academy in Maryland.
