John McCain: “We Live In a Very Dangerous World”

John McCain is unfit to be President and more dangerous than Bush/Cheney. John McCain loves war (Iraq War was his idea) and would start World War 3 if he was elected President. I am a decorated 100% disabled Vietnam Veteran who was wounded 3x in combat and I pray to God everyday that Obama is elected!

1. Be nice to China. They own $3B worth of US government securities. Financed the Iraq war. Don't worry your grandkids can pay them back.

2. Be nice to Israel. They have a higher per capita income than we do, but we send them $11B a year.

3. Be nice to Iraq. We conquered them, but couldn't control one lone radical cleric. McCain doesn't know the difference between and Army and a police force. Send $10 billion a month over there, while they have a $70B surplus.

4. Be nice to the middle east, we are 4% of the world population using 25% of the worlds oil. Play nice with the Saudis, they gave Bush a nice gold medal. We can give them most of our gold. By the way, they also own gobs of US government securities.

5. Don't read the issue statements or plans on the candidate's websites. Just vote on the last blog you read or the last TV ad you saw. Even better, be a single issue voter and don't worry about the rest of the country.

Wake up and smell the coffee. Or just be afraid, and vote for McCain.

Sure the world would be a more dangerous place if McCain has his way. A NeoCon worse than Bush, McCain is proposing wars and more wars regardless is we can pay for them. In effect McCain is proposing higher gas prices as obvious consequence of more wars, as we pay for Bush's folly at the gas pumps right now.

If diplomacy has been lacking for the last 8 years, McCain promises to discontinue it for 4 more years.

McCain's lame experience is experience we can do without.

Oh I know, POW POW POW. Reminds me of 9/11 9/11 9/11 - the answer to any question for Bush, look where that got us. All republicans are so ashamed of Bush now they're refusing to have anything to do with him with this election season. Just watch McCain try to distance himself from Bush at the St Paul Convention.

This is a scary interview and all one has to do is read his non-response to the first question which addressed national security.

He either was asleep when it was read to him or his brain was in outer space.

As a senior nearing 70 I can feel his pain for not connecting.

America owes McCain because he was captured in a war he went to win. We owe him the Presidency. McCain is the one! Please do not remind me that in some countries, there armies teach you not to be captured alive? Fight to the best of your ability. Fight to the last. Fight and die for your country, HONOURABLY. In some countries, it is dishonour to be CAPTURED ALIVE. Back to the present. American economy is in shambles. America is in shambles after 8 years of Bush. We do not need another Bush or McSame, get it. Putin?Medved/Russia want another cold war. Bush could not stop Russia invading or anexing parts of Georgia. McCain cannot stop Russia either. Bush is not stopping Iran go nuclear. McCain cannot either. Only Israel can and needs to with American support. In short, THERE IS REALLY NO REASON TO VOTE FOR MCSAME THIS YEAR.

If you really want the non-partisan truth check out either one or both of these two sites:

politifact.com

snopes.com

Those of you that claim you know the truth... check it out and see if you really do. The site lists all its sources.

I'm sure though that the ones that find their "truth" was wrong will find ways to say these sites are bogus. They are not bogus and they are non-partisan.

Lisa of GA 5:21AM August 27, 2008

By the way, let me quickly add one point: I don't think we're going to reignite the Cold War. I don't think there's going to be a nuclear confrontation with Russia. I don't think there's going to be a Cuban missile crisis. I do think that there's going to be a dramatically different relationship unless the Russians change their behavior.

Not Russians but Americans must change their behavior.

John of NY 2:10PM August 26, 2008

If the Republican party truly desired to retain the White House and advance the cause of conservatism, they would hastely regroup and truly show America they are the party of change. Some delegate should nominate another pair of candidates such as a Hagel/Martinez ticket for example and blow the lid off the convention. Just as in the 1860 Republican convention when Lincoln was chosen as a compromize candidate over Seward, Chase, Bates and Cameron. The new party was shocked at the choice yet history proved that the choice was not only wise but life altering. This is what conventions were intended to perform and barely anyone can say that the choice was in error. It is not too late for the Republicans to exhibit some dynamic leadership and reverse the present state of mediocrity in their ranks. I dare say if President Reagan were alive he would perform any action to support his party because true leaders do not shirk responsibility. So loyal Republicans should ask themselves, What would Reagan Do??? Start ordering those WWRD bracelets because President Reagan outlawed the Soviet Union the bombing starts in 5 minutes!!!

John McCain is going to get steamrolled on November 4th by an empty suit (Obama), and there is really nothing that McCain can do to iron out the wrinkles in his own already “empty suit”.

I, being someone who will not "pick flies out of sh*t" in my choice for a presidential candidate, neither McCain nor Obama is qualified for our nations' most important job. McCain will have to choose a real dope for his running mate in order to prevent being overshadowed and having his lack of substance revealed.

The best thing that we can do is NOT nominate him at all and choose Ron Paul instead at the GOP convention in September!! Ron Paul is more than qualified, has a plan that will work and will lead our nation honorably. Ron Paul can raise the money, get people excited and has the best chance of beating Obama of all the other Republican candidates. The GOP would be foolish not to nominate Ron Paul! This will also explain why Ron Paul’s “ Rally for the Republic “ will most definitely overshadow John McCain’s presumptive nomination at the dull Republican National Convention down the street.

It's not too late to admit that McCain is a bad choice and to remedy the situation. If no one is excited about McCain now, they surely won't be two months from now. Get the geezer out now so we won't have a 1996 repeat of Bob Dole! McCain can't win if he doesn't have the support of the conservative base and nothing is going to change that, plain and simple! There will not be a last minute reprieve by disgruntled Republicans this time around to save him when most people are finally rejecting the worn-out lesser of two evils argument. If McCain remains as the nominee until November, he will destroy the Republican Party and run its members out to most likely join the Libertarian or Constitution Party, or simply drop out of the voting process all together. This wouldn't necessarily be a bad scenario as long as these people are not continuing to do the same thing that yields the same bad results. It’s time to “Dump McCain”!!
