The illegal Nam war was called "Cardinal Spellman's War." He was part of a group that named Catholic Diem pres. of S. Nam in an area mostly Buddhist. Diem & Thieu persecuted Buddhists. McCain bombed a building & was shot down. The fact that it was a was missile made in the godless USSR seems to have bothered him a lot, The Vatican never stopped trying to make that part of the world Catholic. In 1989, the USSR was destroyed. Reagan & the Pope were on "Time's" cover, bragging they wrecked the USSR, Since it fell, the Russian Mafia took over & could sell nuclear weapons to nations that hate America. There are other records of POW treatment in Nam that take into account the fact people like McCain were there killing & destroying, so of course they were targets themselves. Apparently McCain treated his wife poorly after he came home. CIA's Howard Hunt forged cables that fooled LBJ into issuing the Tonkin Gulf Resolution that began the war. Defense contractors were waiting and stepped in, getting trillions of dollars to supply the war. It was to get oil, tin, rubber & other natural resources. Corrupt S. McCain's Ad:
Voice states: "Who is Barack Obama? He says our troops in Afghanistan are...
Obamas voice: "...just air-raiding villages and killing civilians..."
What Obama actually said: "More troops are needed in Afghanistan." "We've got to get the job done there, and that requires us to have enough troops so that we're not just air-raiding villages and killing civilians, which is causing enormous pressure over there."
Voice states: How dishonorable. Congressional liberals voted repeatly to cut off funding to our troops, increasing the risk on their lives...
The fact is Obama voted in 2007 against a measure to put $94 billion into the Iraq War, because there was no timetable of troop withdrawals in the proposal. Obama supports our military. He wants the troops to come home from Iraq. Obama agrees with McCain to funding the military.
McCain voted against funding the troops in Iraq because a different proposal contained a timetable of withdrawal of troops in Iraq. McCain said in the first debate that Iraq is "the hundred year war".
The Iraqi government and the US government have been in negotiations about the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq. The current pact states the US troops will leave Iraqi cities by the end of June 2009 with complete US troop withdrawals by December 31, 2011. Unless the Iraqi government requests the troops stay longer.
The pressure is on to have the pact agreement signed before the United Nations mandate expires on December 31, 2008, which would provide no legal basis for US military to be in Iraq. There are currently no negotiations with the United Nations to renew the mandate. Even if there were the mandate could be refused or not approved.
The current Prime Minister of Iraq, Nouri al-Maliki and the ruling Shiite coalition have not come to any agreement. The United Iraqi Alliance want unspecified changes made to the pact before agreeing to it. The streets of Baghdad have been filled with protests of tens of thousands of mainly Shiites against any pact agreement. The Shiite Cleric Muqtada al-Sadr and his followers are against the signing of the pact as in its current form. Even Sunni lawmakers are against the current pact.
Besides the agreeing and signing a pact between the US government and the Iraqi government which is creating division and greater distrust of the US military in Iraq. The upcoming elections in January are creating division between Shiite tribes. This could be a major setback in any agreement signing before the end of the year. Since there are at least 200 different Shiite tribes a new internal battle for power and new riots and violence could be yet to come.
How is the US going to settle disputes between so many different tribal parties without a new religious war breaking out within Iraq? Government in Iraq is not based on political freedom but on religious beliefs.
The US needs to agree to having US troops leave.

Can no one stop this from happening? Barack Obama is a possible security threat to this country and there is no one stopping him. He should never have been vetted; it is very obvious that he is cheating on the voting and has possibly cheated on pole results as well. Please don't allow this to happen to our country, to the world, for all will be effected. You know what the Bible says; possibly Barack Obama is the deceitful world leader that is going to bring everything down. We have a right to defend our country, we must defend our country.
NO ONE CAN SEE THE FOREST FOR THE TREES, ESPECIALLY THE PRESS AND HOMELAND SECURITY.

This President and this Congress, in large part, caused the economic collapse. Bush and his appointees are in the process of socializing the financial and automotive sectors, and potentially, housing. If we do have a socialist President, he should have a very smooth transition. Can’t voters see that McCain is promising what Bush promised in his campaigns?
On the day after the 2004 US presidential election, a London newspaper blared the headline: “HOW CAN 51 MILLION VOTERS BE SO STUPID?”
If McCain, Palin win, the dumbing down of America will be complete.
Obama says he has a “righteous wind” at his back. True, and I hope good wins over evil in this election.

It sounds like more of McShame... I mean, the same agenda as the last 8 years - scare people into voting for an agenda that is taking us down the road to financial ruin, while eroding our prestige among the other Nations of the World.
Get with it. Carl Rove's strategy of smearing the opponent with deceitful untruths only works so long, before it erodes a party's respect and dignity. As a result, the Republican Party has a huge hole to dig out of, if they are ever to get back policies that benefit our society.
Diplomacy is the only answer.
The internet is getting out information as fast as events happen now. We need intelligence in the White House, not a man [McCain] with a tainted military background at best.
