Two-term Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano's name is surfacing as a prospective last-minute VP pick. It has been said that "she has all of the savvy as Clinton, but none of the negatives." Watch Obama praise Napolitano on this YouTube clip (Barack Obama - Impromptu Speech), shot during a campaign stop in Las Vegas: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPQp-GFXYSM

After being out of state for more than 20 years I came home to Indiana when Bayh was governor. I remember that we had a sizable surplus in the state. It seems to have dwindled away under post Bayh administrations to a deficit, as my school is waiting until the state releases money to buy even the basic office supplies that we as teachers order last spring.
As a republican voter most of my adult life......the last vote that my ballot box will see is a republican vote. No democrat can screw up worse than the last 8 years of bubba W.
Scared of Obama....not in the slightest. What he doesn't know going in, he will certainly learn quickly. We have to get people like him in government that is ready to think outside the box and beyond the old war hawk guard.

My personal choice is Joe Biden. He's knowledgable of foreigh addairs; he's honest - tells it like he sees it. I don't think he is in anyone's 'pocket." He just brings seasoned leadership.
