"Amendment 12 - Choosing the President, Vice-President. Ratified 6/15/1804.

Wouldn't this prevent an Obama-Bayh ticket from carrying Indiana?

Only if Indiana = Illnois, since that is where Obama is currently a senator...

He's already bowing down to cinton at the convention, these rumors are being released just to solidify the fact that too many people will be mad if its not hilary

There isn't one guy who is sqeeky clean as Evan Bayh. He has the verbosity and skill as a speaker. He would even make a great president. I have been impressed with him since day one of his political career. He was trained very well by his dad who by the way was a great politican himself.

Obama is from Illinois, not Indiana

Apart from his utter and complete lack of foreign policy and national security experience and credentials, Kaine signed Virginia's (now revoked) auto fine policy, which for a short time resulted in fines of $3000.00 for speeding, failing to signal and other inane violations. The working and middle classes got slammed by these obscene penalties--all during a period of rapidly escalating fuel and food prices. He is utterly insensitive to the typical American--and utterly keyed in the the typical lawyer type. Reject Kaine and send him back to court where he belongs.

It says "one of whom at least". Obama is not from Indiana, so it would be OK for the Indiana Electoral College to vote Bayh for Vice President. Where it would be difficult is if Obama were to pick a running mate from Illinois.

Bill Richardson should be Obama's top pick. He has great appeal in the western states and his message fits well with Obama's.

If Obama chooses anyone as experienced or less than he, anyone other than Clinton, he cannot expect to win in November. Choosing anyone else will show how politically naive he is, his judgment is impaired, and unrealistic his perspective of himself is. There is far too much at stake for him to take such a chance with this election and our country. I'm very worried.

If Obama want the national attention he should pick Bill Richardson for VP. He is very experience, and have a large number of voters behind him.
