Immigration is one of the most important issues in America because everybody wants to come to America, the Land of Opportunities. The fact that right now our nation is going through difficulties does not stop people from all over the world to want to come to America. I pray to Jesus that the Immigration Agency finds an easier way for people to enter the U.S. I also would like the Barack Obama administration to provide hope for people who want to work for the Immigration Agency. To see if the Job examination forma and the qualification can be revised. It appears to be, somehow a fact that testing for the job is impossible for some ethnic s groups to pass while one particular group of people are the ones that always do. When people go to college and try to advance in life the first thing that they think about is that one day have the opportunity within the government to get a job. Most of the time when an individual have this kind of desire in his or her heart it is not necessarily for the benefit or status that he or she may gain, but for the simple fact of serving this nation, serving people that is to them as essential as serving God. God Bless America. I wish that all those who wish to work for the government might obtain the opportunity of a lifetime to do so.

This is one of the most important moments of our nation when somehow we all together and united holding on from GOD. We are choosing Mr.Barack Obama for president to lead the direction of Unite States of America. The direction for America to fallows GOD and seek his presence. The direction of American families inviting GOD into our heart and houses. To welcome GOD into the schools system where our children are getting prepare for the future. Definitely, America needs someone who cares for the neglects of America, the families and for our fellow’s illegal immigrant. I thank GOD that I have an opportunity to expose mine concern about the poor condition of the American families. It is because is it time that someone like you, future President Mr. Obama to detain your eyes and observe the detrimental conditions of our families. It is eminent important for family values to return to the living room table. Where most of the time we all sit together, talk to each other, care for each other, watch a movie together, or simply pray together asking GOD to supply our needs. One of the main reasons I am asking you for this is because I work as a mediator for the Unified State Court System (Mediation) I can tell that the family structure it is changing and we cannot give up. America is ready for a new, and a great change lets all Republican, and democrats vote for Mr. Obama for President of the United States of America.

God Bless, we are in victory

Thank the Lord my sisters and brothers are waking up to the fact that Christ died for us to have the opportunity CHOOSE Him as Lord of our lives. We will have to answer to Him if we neglect so great a salvation. It is about time we as Christians pray to God for wisdom and stop Blindly following bigoted leaders, especially in the political arena. It is also about time we stop being so narrowminded on our issues as Christians. There are more issues then abortion and gay unions. Believe me I do not agree on either but I have enough wisdom to know that God is the Judge not me. I, like Obama, do not think it right nor righteous to mandate or legislate as unlawful either of these issues. Sinners, like we all were, will have to answer to the Lord. Thank God for Choice!

While Barack Obama is a flawed man and was not the first choice for most Christians, those who are discerning will see John McCain as probably the closest thing to the George W. Bush this country has ever seen. And they will vote accordingly.

There have been so many unnecessary deaths over the past 8 years, many of them abortions (yes, they have spiked during the Bush admin).

Right On Julianna,

You're right! A person who would divorce his wife, disabled in a car accident, while she loyally waited five years for him to come home from Vietnam. A person who supported the illegal invasion of a country not at war with us, thereby killing millions. Well!! He is just the kind of Christian we need to support. I'm praying for you!

Christians (as I am) have lost sight of true Christianity and the mission of Christians to love and help our neighbors. I worked two years in an inner city program in which I learned that abortion, while a horrible tragedy, is not merely a choice to be made. It is a combination of societal factors such as a lack of birth control education and a cycle of poverty and teen pregnancy in which poor women think so little of themselves that they allow themselves to be used sexually without protection. It is my stance that personal responsibility plays a role in abortion, but society including government and church must acknowledge that we are all responsible for the shortcomings and misfortunes of the most vulnerable children of God. We must do our best to help them instead of crucifying and criminalizing them as many conservative Christians would do.

Obama is the most consistently Christian public figure that I have seen possibly in my lifetime.

I was raised pro-life and I voted in the last election strictly because of my "pro-life" views. I didn't care about anything else and didn't listen to what the candidates had to offer on other issues. I have since learned that being pro-life is something that people have to be consistent about whether concerning the unborn, the rich, the poor, those deserving and those undeserving. Find some integrity and try your hardest to understand that Jesus never wanted people to be in a position to decide about abortion. It is a heinous thing that a prophet of his time could not have fathomed to become so widespread. However, I believe in my heart of hearts that Jesus is not pro-war. He is not pro-rich, he is certainly not anti-Muslim or anti-gay. Jesus loves all his father's children and if he could speak to some of the comments above, he would be ashamed that we have let ourselves be distracted from the true meaning of Christianity by a topic (abortion) that has become a politicized craze.

In addition, what have Bush and other conservatives done to actually address the issues of abortion? RvW will never be overturned and perhaps it shouldn't. Lets work together, as Obama has proposed, to change the system and policies to help prevent and regulate the most unfortunate situation of abortion.

I am just a little confused about this term - evangelical Christian. I am a born again Christian, does that make me an evangelical Christian? I am a Christian that votes Democrat - does that exclude me? If I were a Republican would that automatically make me a Christian? Can you be Christian and vote Democratic?

I am a student of the Bible and have read it front to back. I don't see these phrases anywhere. One thing I have learned is that GOP does not stand for God's Own Party. That would be like the mess that rules Irag and Iran for example. Is that what we want? Another Theocracy? Which religion would then be excluded from their approved list? The Jehovah witnesses? The Mormons? Would the Baptists be in charge?

It is just a great example of how politics will devide Christians, and why politics do not belong in the Church. Separate the two. When Christians start lining up with Almighty God instead of a particular political party, then maybe they can get busy doing the work of God instead of pouring billions into the political systems of the world.

If you think for a minute that the Republican party cares whether or not you are Christian, think again. They only care about your money and your vote.

Even the much beloved Barbara Bush once said that abortion has to stay legal at least for the protection of the victims of rape and incest.
