am interested to find out the rankings of all the american universities to enable me to make an informed choice. This is so because globaly, tertiary education has been greatly commercialised resulting in low quality education particulary in the developed world. This trend is manifested in both public and private universities all over the world where acquisition of wealth seems to have taken the center stage at the expense of knowlwdge.Education is for sale in the highest institutions of learning ( universities ).In some developing countries the students who fail to meet the minimum cut-off points set by the government for admission to public universities find it easier to obtain a degree than their counter parts who scored highly and joined public universities.why is this?

After the 2008 election, I am considering changing my political party from Democrat to Republican or Independent. There are a few political talking points that the Republican Party have that I find hard to swollow. Their views on abortions, on business being the central theme to the solution in solving the high employment rate with no regulation and to embrass deregulation("trickle down economics"), and on a honest oversite o the Republican agenda. Does it help or harm the majority of the black race or the minorities?

It is one thing as Blacks to join the Republican Party, but to take up all their talking points as thought we as Blacks do not a slightly different view of the issue of our own. For example on abortion, I believe if abortion is stopped we must feed the on slot of unwanted births that will come with this decision. If stopping abortions is a matter of religious belief, as it is stated in Proverbs, you must not cause anyone to stubble. They may be hanging on by a thread.

Does the trickle down economics really work for blacks. When applying for jobs are there equality in hiring? I think how hiring really works for Blacks are most representative in the polictical parties. A clear measurement of Black politicans in the legislative branches is how hiring is done just enough to be borderline fair. Do an analysis of what jobs are available to Blacks making less than 50,000 a year. Why? How are Blacks used in the work place making 60,000 and above? You will be surprise as to what you will find.

The Black Democratic and Republican parties should do annual do a study or analysis of how this policies will help or harm miniorities, and come up with an alternative to either parties policies.

It is time Americans especially Black Americans to stop participating in lock step agendas, and spearhead counterproductive agendas that will defeat lopesided results.

A final thought is that Americans seem to look at political parties as they would look at their favor sports team right or wrong, win or lose I'm for my party. I appeal to all Americans unlike sports policies has a forever impact on our lives.

The problem we face as A black republican is that we never see a model or image of a black republican in the media. No interviews, no commercials, no talk shows nothing. We only see blacks rally around Obama saying things that don't make since.

This election is to important for us to fall back into typical thinking that we must vote for a man because he's black. Like we don't have the intelligence to decide based on clear information. We need black republican leaders to stand up and speak out. Demand or pressure media to get interviews. We are not hearing the conservative side from black leaders, black preachers, or black conservative parents.

I hope Armstrong Williams doesn't cave in. You can blog your opinions at wwww.nationalopinionnewz.com

I have not been impressed by McCain. Huckabee would have been alot more amiable towards the other candidate. I like Obama and would seriously think about voting for him BUT I've heard he would want to lift the ban on partial birth abortions. Google that abortion technique. It's the closest thing we have to killing a new born. So I have to vote for McCain on principal.

Have you read his biography???? Do you REALLY know Obama besides the fact that he's a black man? How can you vote for someone soley on that? Would you accept that from whites? I would vote in a minute for Herman Cain if he would run for president. HE is a wonderful wonderful human being.

Read Obama's biography. Obama has learned the "trick" to be a nice appearing, polite, smiling black man to get into the white world. He keeps company with hate-filled individuals with a chip on their shoulder and a score to settle. THAT is a good example for his race? His wife shares that hate mongering angry attitude. Yes, a black president would be a wonderful example and role model for all of america, but not THIS screwed up individual, Obama. NO. I am very very scared for this country should he be in charge. God save us all.

Blacks in large numbers were once republicans until the republican party decided that seperate but equal was a good thing and blacks changed parties. Since the day the european man set foot here and claimed it was his land he began his murderous ways. For over 400 years he murered and enslaved black people because these people were animals, less than human.

Then the slave become free. Free to what? Jobs? Traning? Equal treatment? Housing? Our Supreme Court told us that the constition didn't apply to blacks. What was the civil rights movement all about? I suppose everything was fine and these were angry black people looking for a fight because the liberal media was spreading lies. I suppose the Tuskgee Airman, Ebony, Jet, Miss Black America, Black nurses and Doctors were all created without cause because we were so welcomed into mainstream groups. The history of this racist country is very well known. Things have improved for blacks in this country not because our government woke up one day and said we've treated black badly and we must change that. It has only changed because black people have died for that change.

I am black, educated and proud. We have not a good but a great black canidate who is going to win the election. But some of you chose to ignore that and will cast your vote for a man who voted no to making MLK a holiday. And I'm sure that that dosen't even bother you because what did he ever do for you?

For all you Black Folks who say you will not vote for Barack Obama because you believe him to "elitist" and that he does not believe Black folks can survive without government support. Guess what, you all are a minority within your party. While you're thinking that republican's feel the same way as you, guess again. First, elitist? Since when has being educated been a bad thing? As African American's that all we've been taught as our way out of the ghetto. But now that one of has made it, you hate on him. Second, as a tax payer you're damn right I think the government should be there to help me when I need it. What are we paying taxes for? You can best believe White folks are taking advantage of these government perks. As long as they can convince you idiots that it's bad to want the governments help, the more for them. So don't hate on Obama for supporting one our basic constituional rights "no taxation without representation". It seems to me the only one's still on the plantation are the Black Republican's who allow themselves to be "sambo'ed" into paying taxes to support rich White folks and don't believe they deserve any rewards other than being seen as their equal.

I am not a racist nor a fool or do I ignore basic facts concerning Black folks in America. So when it comes to a Black person in America being torn between supporting a rich lying White man or an intelligent caring Black man, I am shocked.

It also brings back terms like uncle tom and turncoat.

Black folk will not need the support of people like these when it comes to turning the course of history in this country to include all people, not just white people in positions of leadership.

In essence people like these are insults to Black people because they make decisions less on facts and more on the house N-manner.
