Hillary, I commend your desire to WIN AT ANY COST (to the party, nation, progress on racial and gender harmony, regard for rules/truth and all that boring stuff).

Such TENACITY (or is it AUDACITY) is what makes true American Dream-ers the talk of the world.

Show them that no party has the monopoly on believing in never having an EXIT STRATEGY - and marching on ... no matter what the collateral damage!

Go Hillary! Give 'em hell! And by 'em - I mean us. And 'em from your perspective is of course .... us!

I think that the parties should maintain the rules that was agreed upon by all the candidates at the onset of the party rules violation by the florida and michigan democratic committtees. I think that to change the rules after the fact would be detrimental to the party's organizational structure. No organization can exist when the rules are broken because of any individual or certain body of that organization

deems it necessary to fit their own agenda.. Mrs. Clinton is clearly trying to create a disturbance in the party rules and structure because in the early primary season she was all for not seating the delegations from Mich. and Fl. because of their breach of the rules. I think she only started this crusade when it was apparent that she was losing to her opponet. I am a neutral political observer and i was always an independent. I always vote for which ever party seems to have a policy that I can agree with.

There should be 100% counted on dispute votes in Michigan and Forida.

Democrats so called themselves Liberal party, how could they destory our

fairness and justice. Without these two big states counted, Obama will

definitely loss in November 2008 election.

The karma will come from the angrily supporter of Hillary Clinton ,and over 50%

or even more people will defect their vote to MaCain. Obviously, Hillary would return

her role in 2012 and Obama will be vanished in the scence.

First, the RBC should split the delegates 50/50 for both MI and FL; that is the only fair solution. We know that campaigns change voters minds, bring out new voters - to act as though these polls really reflect the will of the voters in these two states is to proclaim insanity.

If campaigns are useless - why do we spend so much money on them?

Two states; two candidates; a 50/50 split is the only equitable solution.

Second, the vote totals from each state should be rejected. Now that candidates are attempting to use these polls as tantamount to a certified primary election, no other solution makes sense. There are 50-states in this country, plus assorted territories that will contribute to this nominee selection process, incorporating the popular votes totals from two states that were sanctioned for violating the rules - and one state on which only one candidate was named on the ballot - would just make a mockery of all the other states that followed the rules.

Finally, each state should have their delegate totals cut by 50%. The DNC needs to establish some controls around how they select their nominee and if the penalty for breaking the rules is not severe enough, it only guarantees more chaos in future contests.

Who wants to see that?

There is simply no way to go back and redo the past without irrepairable damage to the Democratic party. The issue is less about votes than process in my view. All parties agreed to the formulation and sanctions.

If the process the rule of law is violated to placate a single candidate the subversion of due process will be catastrophic for not only the Democratic party but out country.

It is time to move on practically and metaphorically. Obama and his team and gun a brilliant and generally ethically sound campaign. Hillary in my view has not. The Obama campaign was and is about a new social, even post cultural paradyme, in which we the people are seem, even with our manifest differences, as having problems on our immediate horizon of enormous common significance: peace, education, environment, culture.

It is time to move on -- Obama in 08 and 12

When will people learn that you need to follow rules to hold fair elections. Changing them afterwards just leads to hurt feelings. How anyone can consider the results of the Michigan primary fair boogles my imagination. What about all the people who didn't vote in Florida because they were told their vote did not count? My decision would be to stand by the original decision and tell the states to follow the rules next time. Those of us in Indiana don't even count in most years - that's not fair either! Quit whining.

Of course this is simply my opinion but I can see this as a "lose lose" situation for Senator Clinton should she not get what she is asking from the Rules Committee.

If she were to take this all the way to the convention and by chance win she will have lost the support of much of her constituency, will have little time to campaign against McCain thereby losing the race.

On the other hand, if she were to take this to the convention and not win the nomination she would have precious little time to throw or her support behind Obama. If he were then to lose the presidential race to McCain all fingers would be pointing at Senator Clinton therefore undermining any prospects that she could be a candidate in 2012.

OneOleMan of WA 2:02PM May 29, 2008

The people left their homes and cast a ballot. Isn't that what should count now? Don't we want to nominate the candidate who has gathered more votes then ever before in history? (Don't we want the candidate who is most able to defeat McCain and lead our country out of the situation we are in?

Listen to the people. Count the votes of EVERY voter!

Adrienne of WA 1:52PM May 29, 2008

In Texas the Disabled, Eldery, and anyone who could not attend the caucus only got 2/3 of their vote and now in Florida and Michigan their votes may only count 1/2. This seems to me to be against The U.S Constitution and Bill of Rights.
