Im a New Zealander - and I have followed USA politics with great fervor for the last year, mainly because a man named Obama came on screen and changed the 'helpless' look that Bush and others like him have portrayed with their arrogant "America is Tough" type of bluster. Mcain is no different from what I have seen and heard, and he will not change the way USA looks to me from out here in the Pacific. If I was allowed to vote, I would vote Obama because he is real and he has what it takes to turn around my views about the USA "bully boy " politics of Bush and co!

Not only stupid, but pointless. Surely no one can believe that I would change my vote to Clinton simply because a Clinton supporter threatens not to support Obama - there will not be one vote of support for Clinton generated by that type of blackmail.
I'm responsible for my vote, not for yours. If my choice loses because someone else votes against him for ludicrous reasons, or because a spoiler (Clinton write-in?) siphons off votes, well, it won't be the first time for either. So be it.
I'll continue to vote for the person I think is the best for the job - stomp your foot and hold your breath until you turn blue, it won't alter my vote.

Obama, to me, is a threat to our country. He has only divided the democratic party, and when it comes time for me to vote, I am going to vote based on my concerns.
McCain has my vote for many reasons over Obama.
McCain is not smoke and mirrors.
McCain is a proven leader with experience
I TRUST HIM
The only things I know about Obama are...he disagrees with everyone, but lacks any plan of his own
He's made no effort to bond with whites, and perpetuates racism by calling whites "bitter"
He plays off of media politics, and has all the credibility of Fox news.
McCain: "no cheesy slogan needed"

Voting for McCain is not the same as voting for Bush.
Once it comes down to it, I will vote for McCain over Obama.
We need someone with some balls and integrity, and honestly, I would like McCain to take the "3 am call" over Obama all day long.
Bush lacked experience, and look where that got us.
I want a president interested in all of America, not just a segment of it.

People threatening to vote for McCain if their representative of choice isn't elected... that's just stupid. It's a problem on both sides - for some Obama & Clinton supporters, but it's worse with Clinton's group according to every poll that I've read. I tend to agree with those polls as I've read thousands of articles & tens of thousands of comments over the last couple of months.
If you think our country has taken the right steps over the last 8 years - then so be it, vote for McCain. But it's almost offensive to realize how many dimwits we have living here in the USA.
Don't believe every news story or report that you read and do your own research - these vindictive, narrow-minded individuals are fools for crossing party lines out of spite.
