SHE MUST BE A BETTER INVESTIGATOR AND JOURNALIST THAN MOST OTHERS AS MANY NEWS REPORTERS AND JOURNALISTS HAVE WRIITEN CONTRADICTING STORIES IN THE NEW YORK TIMES(2003),THE WASHINGTON POST, EVEN THE CONGRESSTIONAL RECORD NOT TO MENTION TV REPORTERS OVER THE YEARS.IT WILL SOON HAVE TO BE TIME FOR THE TRUTH TO BE TOLD WITH PROOF AND THE SO CALLED LIBERAL'S AND CONSERVATIVES PULL WHAT EVER ANSWERS AND CONCERNS THEY MAY HAVE TO SOLVE THIS CRISIS FACING AMERICA.THE BAIL OUT IS NOT GOING TO BE ENOUGH.THE WHOLE GLOBAL ECONOMY IS AT THE RISK OF TOTAL ECONOMIC FAILURE IF THE PROPER SOLUTIONS ARE NOT FOUND SOON. THAT WOULD NOT BE A PRETTY PICTURE. DO YOU THINK THE OIL PRODUCERS WILL SUPPLY US WITH OIL FOR WORTLESS DOLLARS AND PROMISES? CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT ONE PROBLEM ALONE?

What qualifications does Ariana Huffington have??? NONE, except for getting a bunch of money from her wealthy ex husband. Did she become an loyal informed American by being born and raised in Greece? What gives her the right to put everyone else under the microscope and be so critical? We should put Arianna Huffington under the microscope!!!

I really enjoyed the opportunity to peruse the history of McCain's memory lapses about his own statements, courtesy of Huffington and your links. You are unfortunately right that people commonly construe facts as they want to, and just reinforce their preconceived notions. One can only hope that in this election, people, for example, of modest means, and folks in towns that have sent many sons and daughters to Iraq, will look with fresh eyes at the blandishments of the Republicans who really look out for their Big Oil, Big Pharma, Big Agriculture buddies at the expense of the rest of us. Wake up, America!

Ms. Huffington is so far out in the left field than her stupid comments do not deserve a reply from Mr. McCain. If there ever was a turncoat, Huffington is the one. I think I remember she was once a conservative. Now she has become one of these far left loonies that does not deserve anyone's respect. Good riddance, I say! She and Michael Moore would make a nice couple.

It truly astounds me that the DNC thinks we moderates are so stupid that we will believe McCain is Bush the Third simply because you've created some impossibly lame catch-phrases to that effect. Maybe it is enough for those dems who vote dem on the party and not the platform, but for intelligent democrats and moderates, alike, you'll have to do more than call *gasp* McCain - MCSAME.

Then again, I'd never thought of it that way. They've quarreled, have diametrically opposing views on foreign policy, the environment, the economy and fiscal conservatism - but since you came up with that nifty rhyme, maybe they really are the same. Golly, you've gotten my vote.

And the truly moronic are republicans; it is not smart policy to spend and spend into massive debt, its not smart policy to invade other countries without sufficient troops or proper planning, and its not smart policy to take away people's privacy or rights, as it tends to make them angry, you right wing moron.

Thankfully Bush and McSame made all those mistakes, and now they are paying for it, McSame is going to go down in flames this fall.

...who barely possesses enough common sense to continue to breath. ( Strangely, her followers are of the same acuity. )

Only children who are heartless are conservatives and only adults who are brainless are liberal.
