If I choose to accept funding from a certain entity that is trying to support my efforts, this does not mean I am a member of that organization. It is equaly important not to accept contributions/support as it is to accept these contributions.

Obama's Gazan Contributions

UPDATED: CAN READ READ THIS ADDRESS?

Atlas reader Cathy has been indispensable in helping to track Obama's very questionable campaign donations. She found a one mother of a red flag. There is a large contributor in the 'G's'. Largest. Name is Monir Edwan. City is Rafah and the State is GA. You'd think GA is for Georgia. IT'S NOT! There is no Rafah Georgia. It's Rafah GAZA. Although election donor data indicate Georgia, USA here: Donation Details: Adwan, Monir | Rafah, Georgia. There ain't no such place in the land of Georgia peaches.

It's a Gaza refugee camp.

The file attached has both Monir & Hosam Edwan. Both from Rafah. Both over allowed spending limit. Here is the file: Download EdwanDetail.xls. It details Edwans's contributions totalling $24,321.41.The contributions are all to Obama the candidate. Different files for the party or committees.

Cathy's source of the data is from the FEC site. Presidential download file zip. Named ALL. Dated 6/30. She went back to find it today so I could be sure it was legit. Here is the link Unzipped it is the basis for everything she submitted.

How much money was raised from the phone banks in Gaza (see video)?

UPDATE: Schlussel weighs in

More on Obama's Foreign Contributions

UPDATE: First off, I will be filing a complaint with the FEC - either alone or through an organzization. Cathy found more detail:

There's more: Note these receipts are not inclusive of all the information in the FEC detail file.

In October of 2007:

Hosam receipt dated 10/30/07 is for $956.52 (general contribution) his Election Cycle total as of this date is $5,387.13. On the database this amount is redirected (where is not known) but his total is still above allowed amounts (IF HE'S AMERICAN).

Monir has two receipts. One dated 10/27/07 for $1,290.63 (primary - this is in the FEC file), the second dated 10/30/07 for $1,671.85 (primary - this is in the FEC file). The total on the receipt for Election Cycle is $9,598.54 (above allowed). NOTE THE TOTAL HE GAVE JUST ON 10/30/07 ACCORDING TO THE FEC FILE IS $7,435.81.

The phone banks were buzzing?

Facts are a stubborn thing. Obama cannot close his 20 year old relationship with Wright because there is so much video evidence against it. On the TV program THE VIEW, Obama declared that Reverend Wright accepted that his view were inappropriate and mischaracterized. That it had offended many people. Then weeks later Wright goes on a national Hate America Press Tour? This was a blatant lie. Or worse, Obama was fooled by Wright which is kind of scary. That a possible next president can be played by a character such as Wright. Check the video evidence yourselves. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6J7yJ9R5p0

I am an independent observer from Asia. Actually what interest me is the Charismatic personality and the eloquent speeches full with vigor and energy. He is campaigning not to serve Blacks, whites, jews, christians, muslims.....but only for UNITED STATES. He is counting not on the politics of fear, but on reason and logic and that makes him to offer something different. He has got charisma like M Luther King.

In my opinion, Obama is not particularly a friend of Israel. He wants to "make nice" through "diplomacy" with terrorists (Iranian president, for example) instead of dealing with them in harsher ways. He and former president Carter ought to get together and cook up some interesting solutions, such as acknowledging Hamas as valid to negotiate with. God have mercy!! The terrorists want Israel's destruction, plain and simple. Terrorists respond only to force and they have to be destroyed by force. One cannot make peace with the devil. He will come back and stab you in the back if you do. I believe that Hillary would largely ignore Israel. McCain is the only one truly pro-Israel.

She and her husband are not well-rounded people. They lust for power, but know very little about making money. When they turned economic policy over to the Wall Street guys during Bill's two terms, they guaranteed prosperity.

But times have changed, and what worked in 1993 won't work now. The corporate takeover of U.S. foreign policy began with the negotiation of NAFTA, and it has accelerated and become the dominant reality of globalization. Suffereing has ensued throughout the World...witness the current "tsunami" of food shortages.

Or, consider why clothing prices continue to rise, despite the fact that global quotas on imports were totally removed in 2005 (which should have given the consumer great benefit from the elimination of quota "rents" that accounted for about 1/3 the wholesale price.)

No. Hillary has no stomach for bringing the "common good" back to the forefront of policymaking. Obama is more intellectually prepared for this roll, and has the backing of people who understand how far off the mark our current foreign economic policy has gone.

Many jews are very afraid of Obama and what is his true stance on Israel. I will NEVER vote for a president that is not pro-israel. We have a stupid ex-president right now in israel, that is pro-arab and not pro-israel. Israel is very important to the Jewish people for numerous reasons, and whoever does not see that is the next Hitler.

You know, I don't often send in comments to any of these articles that I read, on these web-sites. But, what the hey! First of all, I am a Democrat. And, I am a membrer of a Labor Union. And, I have worked on political campaigns. And, I have campaigned for both Democrats, and Republicans, who have demonstrated the ability to really put their partisan politics aside, and work towards the betterment of the population, as a whole. Because, it is the whole population, that puts them into office! What I find truly remarkable and sad, is that most of these comments seem to come from rather intelligent people. But, yet some of you appear to be some of the greatest "dumb-assess," I have ever encountered! I mean come-on, you idiots, why does it take two towers of steel, and concrete, and glass, to come tumbling down on some poor, innocent countrymen and countrywomen, for this stupid-assed country to discover that we are all the same. Now, you've been living under the last 8-years of the most assinine presidential administration that the county, and world, has ever experienced, from the United States. And, knowing that, there are still some of you, who would elect to suffer throught four (or eight) more years of that? Then, with you "Demon-crats" who cannot get past your racial, or ethnic simple-minded beliefs. Again, God did not discriminate, when he decided to welcome those nearly 3000 souls, into his kingdom, on September 11th, 2001. And, about Senator Clinton. She is a good woman. I met her, in 2004, before going-out to campaign for Senator Kerry. But, since this primary has been running, I have come to see one detracting fact, about her, that the Republicans have been saying, since the beginning. It's true! She (and Bill) are very polarizing figures! And, I truly believe, that the Republican party would come-out in droves (including McCain-haters) in the General election, just to defeat Hillary.

So, my democratic Brothers & Sisters, of all races, creeds, colors, and religious affiliations: be very careful, before you condemn any candidate, based-on what you associate as a character flaw. Remember, none of you, are without Sin, as well!

NO! GOD, PLEASE BLESS AMERICA!?
