The Seattle Seahawks may be celebrating, but former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton should also be giving herself a pat on the back for a tweet she sent out Super Bowl Sunday.

“It’s so much more fun to watch FOX when it’s someone else being blitzed & sacked #SuperBowl,” Clinton wrote before Sunday’s big game. That tweet, as of Monday morning, received nearly 55,000 retweets and almost 40,000 favorites.

Additionally, according to data from political social media startup TrendPo, the tweet gained Clinton 28,714 new followers on Twitter, a daily change of 1,231 percent. Now Clinton can boast that she’s the proud owner of 1,120,011 followers overall.

Meanwhile, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who’s been scandal-plagued of late, only gained 306 new followers on Super Bowl Sunday, even though his Garden State hosted the game.
