Democratic National Committee chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., gave new spin to an old joke as she teased Republicans for having not one, but three, post-State of the Union speakers.

Wasserman Schultz tweeted Tuesday, "How many Republicans does it take to screw in a lightbulb errr...I mean respond to the #SOTU?" she mused. "Answer: 3." She then linked to a Time magazine story about the trio and their competing messages and used the hashtag "Hotmess."
Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Wash., will be giving the official Republican response after President Barack Obama wraps up the State of the Union. Since 2011 the tea party has given a separate statement, this year to be delivered by Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah. And finally, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., will also be delivering a rebuttal.
