Spanish Language White House Twitter Account Gets Furloughed

La Casa Blanca is going dark due to government shutdown.

Lo siento, Spanish speakers, but the White House shut down the Spanish-language "La Casa Blanca" Twitter account Tuesday, thanks to the government shutdown.

Announcing the move in both English and Spanish, @lacasablanca suggested that Twitter users look to the English-language @WhiteHouse account instead. Meanwhile, the White House Twitter account has yet to Tweet in Spanish.
