John Kerry Happy the State Department 'Finally' Has Instagram

The State Department signed up for the photo app Monday.

The State Department posted its first three photos to Instagram Monday, including this shot at the U.N. headquarters.

In addition to Madeleine Albright hopping on Twitter, Monday marked the day when the State Department signed up for an Instagram account.

Secretary of State John Kerry filmed a quick Instagram video to mark the debut. "Finally the State Department is on Instagram and we hope you'll follow us around the world," Kerry said. Thus far, other Instagram photos include shots from the United Nations General Assembly, which Kerry is participating in this week in New York.
