Chef Mike Isabella, who became a household name after competing on two seasons of "Top Chef," recently gave a tour of his downtown D.C. apartment to NowThis News.

During his segment of "D.C. Cribs," Isabella showed off one of his prized possessions--a framed letter from then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

"Over here is a little thank you letter from a good friend of mine, Ms. Hillary Clinton," Isabella chuckled. The restaurateur was made part of the State Department's American Chef Corps last fall, which means he can be tapped for cultural exchanges and cooking for visiting dignitaries.

"So this is something that's kind of a little special to me," Isabella explained. "I have that around the house to always give me a little inspiration."
