Will she or won't she? Bill Clinton thinks it's silly to ask.

When confronted Tuesday about whether his wife, Hillary, would run for president in 2016, the former president said there are bigger national priorities than forecasting political horse races.

"I don't know what's going to happen, but I know this: that is the worst expenditure of our time," Clinton said at a Washington, D.C., summit dedicated to fiscal issues. He didn't offer any information on her political ambitions, but Clinton did say that the former Secretary of State and senator from New York is currently "having a little fun being a private citizen for the first time in 20 years."

While she's doing that, the former president is hoping that Washington digs into the "grimy details" of solving policy problems, making sure that the next president "has an easier set of choices before him or her."
