Pass the cheese, please.

While President Barack Obama prepares to court Senate Republicans on hot button issues at a dinner Tuesday — the second such dinner in as many months — Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus sent out a wonky, cheesy email to reporters Monday offering to order pizza for the dinner guests to save money.

"Due to the sequester, it only seems appropriate that they avoid the considerable security expenses of dining at an upscale restaurant," wrote Priebus. The last dinner was held at the upscale Jefferson Hotel in Northwest D.C. "I suggest they eat in... In fact, I'd like to offer to order pizza for them and have it delivered to the White House."

Preibus also joked that the pizza could illustrate an economic principal to Obama. "Instead of redistributing the slices, the best way to make everyone happy is to make the pie bigger," wrote Preibus, in a nod to Obama's 2008 campaign comment that "when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."

The location of Tuesday's dinner has not yet been announced. But we're going to hazard a guess that Obama won't be serving Domino's to Senate Republicans he wants to sway on important issues like immigration and guns.
