Former president Bill Clinton appeared on comedian Steven Colbert's "The Colbert Report" Monday, which was filmed from the Clinton Global Initiative University. Colbert allowed the former president, who he nicknamed "Billy Jeff," to talk about his organization, but not without having a little fun. After remarking about Clinton's selective use of the Internet and social media, Collbert made the former president a Twitter, handle: @PrezBillyJeff. So far, the president has only tweeted once, "Just spent amazing time with Colbert! Is he sane? He is cool! #cgui

Clinton expressed some insecurity about joining the social media platform. "What if you tweet and nobody tweets back?" he said. "There's nothing worse than a friendless tweeter, right? You are just wandering around in cyberspace." His fears are unfounded though, as at the time of this post, he has nearly 40,000 followers.
