White House Releases Humiliating Photo of Bo

January 3, 2013 RSS Feed Print

First, a George Washington University study alleged that First Dog Bo could be a political liability for President Barack Obama. Then, the lovable Portugese water dog was put on a diet.

And now this.

Among a slew of White House photos released Thursday of life in the White House over the last year is a photo of Bo being humiliated in the East Colonnade. According to a White House photographer Sonya Herbert, Bo was made to wear pink bunny ears and stand for a photograph because it was "amusing."

The photo was taken ahead of the White House Easter Egg Roll, an annual event in which the Obamas host thousands of people on the South Lawn for a traditional egg roll. To make matters worse, the White House also released a video for the event, in which it appeared Bo had laid an egg. The horror.
