With the "Dump Trump" petition garnering more than 476,000 signatures online, the real estate mogul known for his online braggadocio took to Twitter Tuesday to respond to the call for Macy's to fire him.
"My fragrance—"Success"—is flying off the shelves @Macys," he wrote. "The perfect Christmas gift!"

The petition on SignOn.org urges the department store line to stop selling Trump's products, which include a fragrance called "Success." A product description on the Macy's website describes the desired buyer of the eau de toilette this way: "[A man who is] an inspiration and draw to those around him. His unbridled passion and determination defines who he is and ultimately where he will go. Success by Trump captures the spirit of the driven man."

The petition also wants Macy's to quit using Trump's face in nostalgic new advertisements for the department store, which feature Trump alongside Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Martha Stewart as characters in a new version of the "Miracle on 34th Street." Trump voices his doubt of Santa Claus in the ad, an apparent nod at the tycoon's long-standing skepticism of President Barack Obama's birth certificate.

The petition calls for Macy's to cut ties with Trump in part because he "perpetuated the racially charged birther conspiracy." Singer Cher voiced support of the petition for the same reason, writing on Twitter that she would "never go to Macy's again" because they "sell products from a loudmouth... racist cretin."
Macy's, for its part, has not responded to request for comment about the petition or their relationship with Trump.
