Predictions have been flying fast and furious since flamboyant real estate mogul Donald Trump told Fox & Friends he would make an election-changing announcement about President Barack Obama on Wednesday.
The most popular prediction so far is that Trump will drop old divorce papers for Obama and his wife Michelle, a rumor that appears to have started Florida-based investor and CNBC commentator Douglas Kass.
HIgh above the Alps my Gnome has heard that Donald Trump will announce that he has unearthed divorce papers between the Prez and his wife.

That claim has surfaced before, in a 2012 biography of President Obama called "The Amateur." Author Edward Klein claimed in the book that the Obamas almost divorced back in 2000 after Obama ignored Michelle's advice about not challenging Democratic congressman Bobby Rush. The White House respondedto the allegation at the time, saying "Klein has a proven history of reckless fabrication" and that "nobody in their right mind would believe the nonsense in this one."
Other predictions of the October Surprise, some of which have money riding on them in betting houses, are that Trump will once again claim that Obama is not an American citizen, or perhaps invite the president to be a guest on his show Celebrity Apprentice.
But the Donald threw cold water on the speculations Wednesday, writing on his 1.6 million follower-strong Twitter account that "all predictions re: my 12 o'clock release are totally incorrect. Stay tuned!"
