New Obama Video Attempts to Make Mitt Romney Look Weak on Foreign Policy

Former President Bill Clinton backs up President Barack Obama in a new web campaign video that both condemns GOP frontrunner Mitt Romney and celebrates the president's foreign policy savvy as America approaches the one-year anniversary of Osama bin Laden's death. The web ad opens with Clinton's voice saying "That's one thing George W. Bush said that was right—the president is the decider and chief."

The video attempts to prop up Obama's strength as a leader, reflecting on the tough decision the president made one year ago when he ordered Navy SEAL Team 6 to raid bin Laden's compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

"Suppose the Navy Seals had gone in there and it hadn't been bin Laden, suppose they'd been captured or killed. The downside would have been horrible for him," Clinton says. "He took the harder and the more honorable path." [Read: Obama rolls out re-election campaign.]

Amidst, photos including the one of New York Firefighters watching the news ticker announcing bin Laden's death, the video juxtaposes Romney's view on the subject. The video brings to light an old Romney gaffe. Romney told the Associated Press back in 2007 that using resources to find Osama bin Laden was wasteful.

"It's not worth moving heaven and earth, spending billions of dollars just trying to catch one person," Romney said when he was running for the GOP nomination the first time around.

"He had to decide," Clinton says of Obama's decision to hunt down bin Laden. "And that's what you hire a president to do."

Any woman, Hispanic, minority, who votes for Romney is just PLAIN STUPID!

Salvador Esqueda of CA:

You are correct in that Romney needs the Latino vote, and frankly, I believe he has it!

My Hispanic wife, along with her entire family (of which are here legally in the Estados Unidos) truly loathes Presidente Obama for many, many reasons. This liar's "Dream Act" truly is a "dream act" on his part, as well as the Democrat Party's!

Romney for Presidente in 2012.

Odumbo does not need N.C. blunders to step into, he has plenty in Washington he will have to answer for. He has been the worst President in the last 40 for me. It will be a rebirth when he is back shooting dice in Chicago with Blago.
