Make no mistake...

If you are not a Catholic, then you do not understand the Catholic faith.

The Mass Media can make up all the "polls" they want, but you can be sure that we will not vote for a politician who favors taking away our rights to practice our faith in the manner in which we believe ....a practice that has been guaranteed by the First Amendment of our Constitution that prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion and impeding the free exercise of religion.

Have a terrific day everyone.

In 2008, Catholics made up 27 percent of the national vote and Obama took 54 percent of them....

It will certain be a different story in 2012, that's for sure and for certain!

Where does he get his facts. The economy IS way better than it was and I think most Catholics are WELL aware of the fight about contraception.

President Obama has had the worst congress to deal work with. Certian Republicans have done nothing but dragged their feet and have done nothing for the economy, unless your a millionaire or a billionaire.

Will Romney get the job done? Can he do it better than Obama? Those are the real questions. No one cares about comparing him to Jimmy Carter. It does nothing to better the situation.

I am wondering, with American citizens living in an era of propaganda in place of accurate political news, if these Catholic, blue-collar workers are aware of what is true about Obama's policies and what is not?

For instance, the Keystone Oil Pipeline incident was a source of much contention for President Obama, yet President Obama was graciously attempting to meet the requests of the Republican Governor and a Republican Senator of Nebraska. These two men formally wrote Obama a letter asking him NOT to allow the pipeline to run over the Nebraska aguifer, a source of fresh and pure water for Nebraska and surrounding states. These Republican politicians asked President Obama to delay the pipeline in order to come up with a way to divert the pipeline in another direction.

Actual Text (primary documentation) of Governor Heineman's Letter to President Obama:

President Obama was also asked, by Native Americans and American Environmental Groups, to consider the dangers fracking presents to land, air, and fresh water. Hundreds of thousands of citizens asked President Obama to step in to delay the pipeline for all of the above reasons. He listened, but the GOP has portrayed Obama as a person who does NOT have the welfare of America in mind, and declared Obama a "massive failure" of a President.

President Obama has accomplished much in his short time in office. 15 million jobs had already left the shores of America by 2007; those jobs are not coming back. President Obama, with the support of his Cabinet, his staff and the citizens of the U.S,. must reinvent a new jobs market, and the reinvention of America will take more time.

Is this one of the stories that these Catholics hear--Obama is stopping America from getting enough oil for its citizens? Since there is no truth in the media anymore, it is important to be sure just who is telling the truth and who is not. This is not easy to do, but search for the original documents about the topic (not any old online source), and you will find out what information is actually true!

I hope these Catholic blue-collar workers will consider that President Obama is a nice man who is attempting to do the best he can for this Nation, in spite of rhetoric by GOP groups that are bent on returning the GOP to the Presidency.

Will we then have more years of Bush policies? Nothing in the Republican Party has changed. Bush's policies are still the policies of the GOP. These policies were deeply disappointing, and many of these policies were steeped in corruption.
