GOP Making Money Off Hilary Rosen Remark

GOP says "Moms Do Work, Vote for the GOP.'

It has been less than 24 hours since Democratic strategist Hilary Rosen hinted to CNN that GOP frontrunner Mitt Romney's wife Ann was ill-equipped to give advice on behalf of working women.

"His wife has actually never worked a day in her life," Rosen told Anderson Cooper.

Ann Romney and other moms have since fought back and the GOP swung into action in order to monetize on the outcries.

The Republican party launched a campaign for stay-at-home moms late Thursday, complete with a "Moms Do Work, Vote for the GOP" mug.

The landing page on the website reads "Don't let Barack Obama and Democrats insult women." For $15, moms can purchase the travel mug and sign the pledge. To get the word out about the new campaign, Sharon Day, co-chairwoman for the Republican National Committee, sent a letter to supporters Thursday reiterating how insulting Rosen's comment was. Dear Friend,

Last night Democrat strategist Hilary Rosen attacked stay-at-home moms with the ridiculous claim that raising children is not work.

Well Hilary, as someone who has experience being both a stay-at-home mom and working mother, I can tell you that being a mom is the most important job there is. It's certainly challenging, but it's also extremely rewarding and I wouldn't have it any other way.

That's why I find Rosen's claims and that of the Democrats and their liberal media allies to be more than ridiculous, they are downright insulting.

So we're asking for your help.

Whether it's you, your wife, or your mom please consider purchasing this travel coffee mug, for only $15 dollars, and together we can show the Democrats that MOMS DO WORK!

Thanks,

Sharon Day
