Secretary of State Hillary Clinton wasn't about to miss out on all of the "Texts from Hillary" hoopla. Clinton submitted her own post Tuesday after meeting with the site's creators Adam Smith and Stacy Lambe.
The State Department confirmed to Whispers that the Clinton submission is no hoax.
"The submission credited to her is indeed from her," State Department official Philippe Reines said. "I believe the creators of the site have also posted a photo taken with the Secretary this afternoon, as proof."
Indeed, Clinton signed her submission writing a personal message to Smith.
"Adam— Thanks for the many lolz. Hillary 'Hillz," signing off as the site often potrays the Secretary of State.
Smith said via twitpic that Clinton loves the site.
The Texts From Hillary Clinton Tumblr, launched last week, features fictional exchanges from a stoic, sunglass clad Clinton aboard a C-17 plane. The site quickly went viral and includes imaginary texts from President Obama, former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.
