If this was any other President this would be on the front pages and amongst the top stories of all news organizations. But because its Obama they will barely if at all mention it...

Why is that when Dems are in charge the gas go's up and we loose jobs? I'm sick if these social experiments with people voting for Liberals!!! Wake up people!!!

Under Reagan, gas prices dropped, 20 million new jobs were created, per capita income nearly doubled and the Soviet Union was brought to its knees.
& Progressives despised all of the above.

Gas prices go up because oil companies haven't yet discovered the limits of how much the market will bear.
Gas prices go up when oil prices go up, but that oil is a month or more away from being delivered to a refinery, yet the gasoline price goes up immediately. When oil prices sag, it can take gasoline prices weeks to ease.
What this says to me is that the relationship of oil prices to gasoline prices is tenuous and based largely on the goal of obtaining maximum profit.

Any of the Liberals that point out only July 2008 gas prices want to be honest and point out the gas price plummet before 2009?
Didn't think so...
And, like I said...the value of oil isn't higher...Obama made the dollar weaker. Obama would have $2.50/gallon now if he wasn't printing money like toilet paper.

Why else do you think they are printing money, Q1,2,3, 4!! it is to make it look like cheap gas! no one notices. I remember Jimmy C and no gas, NO ONE today wants that!!!

I love how the Liberals move the goal posts. First, Bush was on a 'crusade' for oil in Iraq...yet gas prices continued to climb.
Then, the Liberals point out gas prices in the peak of season demand (July) of 2008. In July 2009, gas prices were significantly lower. But, Obama and Democrats blame everything on Bush, so the lower prices were due to Bush's push for domestic drilling.
But, wait...that's good for Obama...so that's Obama's policy. Then, the gas prices are almost to Summer 2008 levels BEFORE summer. Oh, that's Bush's fault.
You can't argue with a liberal...they don't understand logic or reason.

So does this mean that obama is simply the black jimmy carter?! The only other difference is the white/black (to use the ny times asinine description of Zimmerman as an example) president is carter on steroids!

Did you know Gasoline can be made from Natural Gas? Did you know making Natural Gas into Gasoline is American technology and it is being provided to the rich Oil Sheiks instead of being fully implemented here in America? Did you know if gasoline were made from Natural Gas, you would be paying less than $2 per gallon?
If all this makes you angry, then contact your congressman today and ask them why Natural Gas into Gasoline is not top priority!

The pipeline and drilling are important. But an even more important determiner of oil prices is inflation of the currency by the fed, as it prints money to finance Obamas debt. This is borne out by the fact that not only oil is increasing, but food, gold, and other minerals.
