Energy Secretary Gives Himself an "A" for $4 Gas

We must have been watching different meetings or reading different news articles on this matter.

I didn't hear or read where Chu said anything about trying to lower the price of a gallon of gas at the pump. In fact, here is the conversation about the price and how Chu would grade himself:

"Issa asked Chu "In controlling the cost of gasoline at the pump, do you give yourself an A-?"

"Chu responded that "the tools we have at our disposal are limited, but I would say I would give myself a little higher in that since I became a Secretary of Energy, I've been doing everything I can to get long term solutions."

"I've been doing everything I can to get long term solutions." Is NOT saying, "Chu told Republican Rep. Darrell Issa at a House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing that he's done everything in his power to lower gas prices."

So ".... doing everything I can to get long term solutions." really means he's doing what Obama wants him to do and to get the price of gas as high as he can. That was/is Obama's long term solution and he said so during his campaign in 2008. He wanted the electric rates to go sky high, also.

Mr. Chu should be arrested and tried as a traitor to the U.S. because he is trying to do national harm by all these price increases that Obama wants.
