Congressional Candidate Uses Limbaugh 'Slut' Comment as a Fundraiser

Lois Frankel, a candidate for Congress in south Florida, is using Rush Limbaugh's name calling to her advantage.

Limbaugh called Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke, who testified  to Congress on behalf of the Obama administration's new birth control policy, a "slut" on his radio show Wednesday. [Republicans Jab Obama Over 100th Fundraiser.]

Frankel, a Democrat who is running for Rep. Allen West's seat, sent an E-mail to supporters Thursday urging them to donate to her campaign in protest against Limbaugh.

"We have extended our important February fundraising deadline to midnight tonight so that YOU can send a message to Rush that he is a shameful coward. We are just $233 away from our February goal - can you help us get there today?," the E-mail read. [Friendly Fire Coming in House Re-Elections?]

According to the most recent Federal Election Commission report, Frankel is leading the fundraising race against her opponent Adam Hasner, raising $1,437,314.

First Rush Limbaugh and his extreme right-wing friends were scared to let Sandra Fluke, a Georgetown law student, testify about her support of the Obama administration's new birth-control policy and now they attack her?

 It takes a lot of guts to stand up in front of Congress, but the Republican Party didn't want to let a student stand up for women's health care.

 Contribute three dollars by midnight tonight so that you can tell Rush Limbaugh that he needs to apologize for his shameful attack on women.

 Rush called a college student a "slut" and "prostitute" because she had the courage to stand up for women's healthcare.

 The right-wing Republicans' war on women is going to come to a screeching halt, because they don't know that when women work together, they win.
