Did they poll only democrats who are catholic ?

Daily POTUS does something that slowly takes freedom from us.

Ya can't fix stupid, and you sure as hell can't stop me from voting for the FRAUD.

The issue is not about contraception. It is about funding Planned Parenthood (PP), Leviathon.

PP is "non-profit" that is tax free.

PP has assets of more than one billion dollars.

PP gets fees paid for its abortion etc.

PP get more than 330 million dollars a year of federal taxpayers monies.

PP gets ove 430 millions dollars a year of tax money from state and federal sources.

Now PP wants every one in America to pay for the funding of abortions with their medical insurance premiums and the money will end up in their coffers.

There is more to the game beiing played.

The basic feature of totalitarian systems is to coopt the conscience of the people it governs.

He won, I think 59% of the Catholic vote in 2008. So 49% approval is a significant decline, no matter how the Obama friendly media tries to spin it. It may be all it takes to swing 2012.

When Jesus told his disciples "render unto Ceasar that which is Ceasar's", He knew full well that some part of their taxes would fund objectionable activities. But the alternative leads down the path of the Blunt Amendment, where any company could refuse to provide any health care for any reason -- and logically to the idea that any individual could refuse to pay any tax for any reason.

Get out the toboggan, kids -- this is one slippery slope the anarchists would love to ride!

This seems to be expected. Catholics have been around long enough to have a decent view of things, plus they're somewhat calm.

I'm glad they haven't bitten from the same Crazy Pie some of the Evangelicals have. Those folks are just rapidly becoming caricatures of themselves.

Whatever one thinks of making contraception available President Obama and his advisors should have been smart enough to see the potential controversy and come up with a policy that achieved the goal while avoiding infringing on personal conscience and religious liberty. That they didn't take even those things into consideration is disappointing from a president who billed himself as a uniter, not a divider.

Hey Lauren--

News Flash: 46 percent approval in a voting booth means the candidate LOSES the election! Obama supporters, I encourage you to remain in smug complacency, toasting each other on the Lido deck while the Titanic takes on water...

In fact, under new health care reform your health insurance company will no longer be allowed to cancel your policy if you get sick, we should be doing this already! search online "Penny Medical" it is a good place to find insurance if you have illness like me.

Obama has shown his colors over and over..He is a Tyrrantical Dictator and he will rob this election if we don't come together..It will Take Ron Paul to beat him..It will take Ron Paul to restore Our constitution, bill of rights and Declaration of Independence..Then a Rand Paul win..I would love to see Allan Keys as Ron Pauls running mate a real African American with strong Moral Values!!!Very Articulate and nobody can out debate Allan Keys bar none!!!
