The word is "backpedaled" not "back peddled."

Uh, hello. Planned Parenthood doesn't and has NEVER provided mammograms. Nor do they provide well baby checks and prenatal vitamins. I invite YOU to visit a Planned Parenthood office and confirm this yourself.

Additionally, if you had a child you'd see that Michelle Duggar is actually one of the least selfish women on the planet! Everything she does is to raise her children to make the world a better place. Few of us live out the corporal works of mercy--Mrs. Duggar lives them every day of her life!

Michelle Duggar, really. 19 children into this already crowded country. Where's the concern for her fellow citizen. Her actions in birthing 19 are the height of irresponsibility, and selfishness. Because the bible says so. Give us rational folk a break.

Planned Parenthood does more than perform abortions. They are where young women go when they have no insurance - To get help when they are pregnant and need vitamins and well baby checks - to get mamograms and yearly check ups. They have gotten a bad rap over the years and it's time these people visit a clinic and see the good they do for those that don't have insurance. Every time I hear one of those preachy religious people it makes me crazed. Where are they when the children are abused and left dead in an alley?

Cynthia says "I would rather the money that I donate go for education re: pregnancy prevention, empowering women to understand that they do not have to have a child when they have sex. In this day, I do not understand the need for abortion except laziness and bad decision making."

This is why people donate to planned parenthood. Planned Parenthood's primary effort is to provide education and access to birth control. The people who vocally oppose Planned Parenthood want to make access to birth control impossible and they want to provide teenagers with incomplete and incorrect information.

I'm sorry you do not understand the need for abortion. As you get older you will see that the world is not black and white and you may gain greater compassion for your fellow man. It seems you have lead a charmed life and you can be very judgmental about the lives of those less fortunate.

Does everything have to be political?

Murder is still murder no matter how you try to twist it around and sugar coat it. If you kill someone, you will go to jail. If you hire someone to kill someone for you, you will go to jail. If you drive someone to kill someone then you are an accessory to murder and you go to jail. It seems pretty cut and dry to me. The liberals try to turn it all around until people forget what the real issue is. How can the American Cancer Society, Susan G Komen and even the Ronald McDonald House say they are working to save lives and then give people money to end them? It's very sad that they gave in to "peer pressure" and what is popular instead of standing up for what is right and the little babies that can't speak yet. People are appalled if someone throws a baby against a wall or shakes it and causes brain damage or death. What's the difference?

There are a number of reasons that I will no longer back Susan G. Komen which I did for years on end. They say in there add that everyone has the right to live yet there money is funding abortions. Women's Health does not include abortion it should pay for breast cancer interventions, gyn cancers, problems pregnancies, or birth control. But if the mother's health is in danger then and only then should it help with the cost of abortion. I am not totally against abortion but what an antithesis of messages they are sending. They need to set straight what they are about not back peddle.

I would rather the money that I donate go for education re: pregnancy prevention, empowering women to understand that they do not have to have a child when they have sex. In this day, I do not understand the need for abortion except laziness and bad decision making.
