That is very interesting. I am a historical interpreter, and I am constantly asked why people still care about the Civil War so passionatly. They don't realize how resent it was.

I was initially tempted to decry this as yet another abuse of taxpayer funds, but if this is indeed accurate it actually speaks quite well of America's commitment to its veterans and their families. May we never forget the sacrifices our men and women have made.

Wait the widow was born in 1910? I'm confused. If her husband fought as a teen, say 13, that makes him 64 years older than his wife. And that's probably being conservative.
