Leaked: Obama's SOTU Talking Points

How can any rational American believe a word this President says? He has lied to us continuously since he began running for the presidency, ignored the law and the Constitution, and repeatedly tried to end-run the Congress as if he were King.

How can anyone believe that he supports domestic energy production when there is still a drilling moratorium in the gulf, his EPA has declared war on coal, and he personally quashed the Keystone XL pipeline for purely political reasons? No, he wants to blow more taxpayer money rewarding his bundlers in the name of pie-in-the-sky "green energy" scams like Solyndra and drive energy prices even higher.

More job training? Is that an admission that the scores of existing Federal Jobs Training programs are ineffective? His answer to a failing bloated government is always more government, when the majority of the American people clearly want less government.

You can waste your time listening to this snake oil salesman's baloney if you wish, but I will be spending mine working to help making him unemployed a year from now.

So in other words the Blamer and Chief will continue his blaming anyone and everyone but his own policies. I'm shocked!

In other words, more taxpayer cash lavished on labor unions, and higher taxes on the only people who are paying taxes--hard-working non-rich people.

Ugh, do we have to go another year hearing about Warren Buffet's skin rash over not being taxed higher than his poor secretary? Hey, billionaire, pay her enough to offset the taxes she pays! Also, the white house and its lapdogs are getting more and more reckless in their claims that Mitt Romney and other millionaires pay "less taxes" than the middle class. They used to at least make the distinction between 'lower rates.' The fact is, these people pay more in taxes, some of them, than most will make in total income over a 20 year period.

In other words new day same old crap.

If he really wants to narrow the gap between the rich and the poor he could sponsor a bill barring democrats from becoming president. The GINI Index used to measure that gap shows a decrease in the gap by &% under both Reagan and Bush and increases under Clinton (6.7%) and Obama (5.6% in only two years)

How sad, failed leadership doubling down.

Fairness? By Obama's Administration, the most corrupt in history? Which arranged for GM dealers to be terminated based on whether they donated to Republicans? Which adopted a stimulus which rewarded favored Democrats with billions of dollars? For destroying the economy, while enjoying the perks of being President while the rest of us suffered?

Obama has some nerve with this crap. I look forward to watching him get in that helicopter and leaving in 2013 after the swearing in of the new president.

American Values – of fairness for all, and responsibility from all?

I thought America's value where Opportunity for all and Liberty for all

Pete B of FL 5:00PM January 24, 2012

From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs??? No thanks big brother.

Sean of NV 4:32PM January 24, 2012

Boy this sounds like playground talk with all this "fairness" stuff. Anybody knows that "fairness" is relative to who's in power and their version of fairness and that it is irrelevant to our nations economic woes. If we get the economy going and get some "real" jobs, not those propped up by tax payers money, then all this silly talk about what fair and not fair will disappear. Good grief do we ever need a "LEADER"!

Curtis of MO 4:22PM January 24, 2012

Utter hypocrasy. A country with "responsibility from all" despite the fact that the lower 50% of the US pays no Federal Income taxes at all.

With "accountability", but not for Obama, who created the longest lasting recession in over half a century, no, that's the fault of Bush and the Congress.

Building an economy that works for everyone, as Obama gives muti-millions to his fundraiser buddies to finance pie in the sky "green" fantasies. Which then promptly go bankrupt.

A plan for a "new era of American energy", as the oil pipeline is put on indefinite hold, whatever happened to "we can't wait". While permits are refused for shallow water drilling in the Gulf, and drilling rigs leave for countries that actually want to produce oil. Meanwhile, the EPA shuts down the electrical power plants that are needed to power the manufactoring he claims to want to encourage.

"Fairness for all", while those unions and crony businesses get waivers from Obamacare, while those states and businesses that vote Republican do not.

Yes, a country "where hard work is rewarded", with a President who spends his time on vacation, or golfing, or fundraising, while the US has now gone over 1,000 day without the Federal budget that the law requires to be passed every year.

Everything he praises, he prevents from happening....
