America's taxpayers, already on the hook for watching over the Occupy movement's three-month seizure of Washington's downtown McPherson Square, are getting stuck with another bill to cover the police protection and port-a-potty rentals at today's Capitol protest.

For today's protest, where several hundred Occupiers toting signs lingered in the muddy grass of the Capitol Grounds, over two dozen U.S. Capitol Police were assigned to ring the lawn, most on foot, some on bikes, and others in 18 cars, buses, and trucks counted by Whispers.

Plus, the government rented 17 bright blue potties from Don's Johns, which were parked across from the Capitol Grounds and in the shadow of the Ulysses S. Grant Memorial.

The Architect of the Capitol's office wouldn't comment on the costs or protection.

But Don's Johns told Whispers that renting 17 potties costs about $2,100.

A miffed Capitol Police officer told us, "I can't believe we're paying for this. But they have no money. They were complaining about parking prices."

Officials said that the protesters, some perched in trees, had not caused much of a problem. However, one tried to set up a tent as protesters have done at McPhearson Square, and it was immediately removed by the police. Officials said they are on the lookout for others trying to set up tents.

In addition to simply hanging out, the protesters had set up a medic unit, a photography perch, and some were selling buttons that read "Black Power" and "Occupy Wall Street."

The protesters told other reporters that they were trying to rally their cause against corporate influence in Washington.

Mr. KLAUS KRAUTHAMMER.

You are going with the tide. The media portrays "occupy", as young, hooligans, wanting a free ride. Fox News covered the even @ city Hall in Los Angeles, all they did was undermine the efforts of the fight for justice, representing the 99%. The Fox anchor narraters said of a person that was on a tree, too bad the police can't shoot him down like a bear. Newt said, "take a bath and get a job", Mr. Gingrich is so out of touch, he needs to get a clue.

Mr. KLAUS KRAUTHAMMER. If you think that there is nothing wrong with millionaire politicians paying 14% tax, and corporations shipping jobs over seas so they can rake up fat profits, rather then to create jobs in their own country, because they don't want to pay decent living wages. If You think that is OK then you are part of the problem.

I have a very good paying job, and I pay my share of taxes...... I think the rich should also, especially if a millionaire wants to run for the presidency. don't you?

worrying about paper cups and toilets, pales in comparison to what we are up against.

There is something far more serious then taxpayers paying for potties. I found it more offensive and shameful that our tax money is being used to pay out billions, yes with a B, to banks, and corporations, you know, The job creators, they've been getting mine and yours' tax money for 10 years, and yet this is the worst recession since the great depression of the 20's. not to mention that they have stolen 13 million homes from hard working people. and you are complaining about outhouses. You need to understand that they are fighting for equality, and justice. If the job creators have been getting all this tax breaks, " WHERE ARE THE JOBS?" Stop blaming the President. It was George W. that took this country to hell, funny thing about the timing. of his assault on our country. 2 wars, of which Iraq was totally unnecessary. do yo think he cares?

How about " I WANT MY MONEY BACK". I'd be more then happy if all I had to pay was for out houses
