So, either support the position of the "scholars", who are no doubt biased in favor of AGW, or they will say you are the one who is biased. Agree with them and you are being fair. Disagree and you get an F. Either just a bunch of elitists pushing an agenda or they are earning their grant from the White House.

So, if you're less accepting to their beliefs, you will score low. Isn't journalism about leaving your feelings at the door and reporting the facts? The liberal media at it's worst.

You need to take a good hard look at how the so-called "consensus" was formed and what a "consensus" means to real science. "Consensus" is a political tool, not a tool of science. Science is about forming a hypothesis, making predictions based on that hypothesis, and seeing how the observed data matches the hypothesis. It isn't about a government formed group of advocates building an echo chamber of support toward a politically expedient end. Darwin made predictions based on his theory. Those predictions panned out. Plus he told us how we could prove his theory wrong. The hacks in the warming cult are not 'scientists' or at least they hardly practice real science, they are simply forming competition for Scientology. And no, it's not just republicans or conservatives that think the pop science understanding the media displays on this issue is hacky. All of us who have been trying to bring attention to real environmental issues are pushed to the side while a bunch of lazy idiots think the solution to every environmental problem is to sit on their fat asses and cry for government to tax energy for daring to emit trace amounts of plant food. Or these fat asses buy some battery powered (which is mostly coal powered) overpriced car that just creates a toxic sludge in China rather than their own back yard and claim they did their part. They didn't do squat but move the smoke stacks around. Hypocritical self-righteous idiots. Go spend real money and time toward protecting the rain forests or endangered species. Stop pretending you are doing anything by sitting on your thumb and asking government to hemorrhage trillions so you might not experience a fraction of a degree temperature increase over a hundred years as if that is some catch all problem for all things environmental. It's just brain dead and lazy and doesn't help anything.

"Global warming" is a dirty socialist scam everyone knows that.

It's child abuse how these global warming ideas are fed to children.

And child abuse is WRONG.

Let's face it, if you're trying to get your propaganda out and one network doesn't drink the kool-aid, it makes it harder.

The fact is the climate change is no longer science, it's politics. The liberals have latched on to it as a way of getting tax revenue and they will demonize anyone that stands in their way.

When they say facts are stubborn things, they're certainly correct and there aren't enough facts to support the climate change alarmists claims. They've completely overdone it and outfits like CNN have allowed them to make outrageous claims, without being challenged.

Our "free press" should be ashamed of themselves in their converage of global warming and, until there are more networks like Fox, who force the climate change alarmists to prove their outrageous statements, no one will believe them. The 30 ft rise in sea level was one such instance that should have never been allowed to stand, yet it was.

FOX NEWS HAS MORE DISCUSSIONS OF GLOBAL WARMING AND HAS ON MORE SKEPTICS OF GLOBAL WARMING BECAUSE THE REST OF THE MEDIA REPORT ON GLOBAL WARMING AS ABSOLUTE FACT. THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA IS NO LONG OBJECTIVE ON THIS ISSUE, THEY SEE GLOBAL WARMING SKEPTICS AS FLAT EARTHERS, OR WORSE, HOLOCAUST DENIERS. AND FOR THE PAST FEW YEARS MAINSTREAM NEWS OUTLETS LIKE NBC NEWS AND CNN HAVE BEEN PROMOTING GLOBAL WARMING DURING THEIR YEARLY "GREEN WEEK" EVENTS. "GREEN WEEK" DOESN'T EXACTLY SOUND OBJECTIVE, DOES IT? FOX NEWS CHANNEL IS ONE CHANNEL TRYING TO BALANCE OUT THE REST OF THE TELEVISION NEWS MEDIA, WHICH AUTOMATICALLY MEANS SKEPTICS WILL GET MORE AIRTIME THAN THE TRUE BELIEVERS.

Fox's "balance" consists in stacking the deck in favor of extreme opinions that do not reflect reality. 54% of its guests, and 60% of its stories, dispute global warming - a phenomenon accepted as true by something like 98% of actual climate scientists. This makes an absurd fringe element of ideologues the majority opinion on Fox, which then claims to be "balanced" because it has roughly equal numbers of people endorsing and denying accepted scientific fact.

This is equivalent to the "teach the controversy" approach to creationism, in which the "controversy" consists entirely of the fever-dream delusions of the people demanding that the controversy be taught.

For the right wing, opinions literally *are* facts, and having an opinion means that there is "another side" to an issue that is otherwise entirely fact-based. Fox is balanced in the sense that they can generate enough opinions to swamp the actual facts about any issue their ideology demands be shouted down - and then dutifully report those opinions as the majority of facts of the case.

In my opinion, Fox is full of BS. And that's a fact.

How exactly does one "undermine the reality" of something?
