Democrats Gain on GOP Social Media Domination

Obama has a billion $ war chest, all unions, ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN, PBS, NPR, most comedy shows, MTV, and "political product placement" tossed into many TV series. These are the most insidious, because an actor will add a political statement that usually has nothing to do with the program. People who listen to very little news, develop their views this way and it works.

I am for Romney!! He has the best chance to beat Obama. If you think the GOP is bad, remember, Clinton's good fiscal record was accomplished with a GOP House and Senate. Think of the likes of Reid and Pelosi and backed by Obama with no balance....If that happens, we can kiss democracy goodby!! Big government will get bigger with over regulation and debt will increasing. The tax base will fall more and more on lower income people because the rich will sink into that category. Think it can't happen...I have relatives who lost everything when Castro took over in Cuba..They just came in and took their stuff. Now, no one is doing well there except higher up government workers. That is just one example, history shows there are many more and they are not hard to find. 2012 is not looking much better then 2011 for the good old USA. Too many people are depending on the government to take care of them...not a good bet..The media and corporations have a vested interest in kowtowing to government. Solyndra..GE..AIG, etc.

Social media success isn't measured through follower #'s alone; that is very, very misleading.

True. Obama has a huge follower count online that helped him get elected. (And is very responsive to his tweets-to-action on Twitter.)

Per Gallup, the polls are: Romney 26%, Gingrich 24%, Paul 11%, Perry 7%, Bachmann & Santorum both at 5%, Huntsman 2%.

Per Facebook fan count, Romney 42% (with 1.26M fans), Paul 22%, Bachmann 15%, Gingrich 7%, Gary Johnson 5%.

Fan count is great, but it's only one metric. More important is driving your digital support to real-life support at the polls.

Democrats left President Bush a record surplus and he left President Obama a record national debt. You know how that happened: the Republicans happened. They held the White House, the House and the Senate for six long years. And they did something no one had ever tried in 200 years of history: they tried to fund two wars by cutting taxes three times. That's how you go from zero to nine trillion dollars in debt. It's that simple. They took everything they inherited: the jobs, the surplus, the stature of our country around the world -- and they squandered it....

I'm not going to touch a Republican with a 10 ft stick. Republicans are poison.

They might be able to rouse the bigots and some religious zealots telling other who they can marry but the Republican policies of lowering taxes and deregulating have unequivocally failed all but maybe 5% of Americans.

I'm going to stick with the guy that actually accomplished something besides blow smoke - like finally getting Bin Laden and helping liberate Libya. Notably, without killing any Americans and for less than it costs to bribe a Republican congressman.

Sorry you old geezers, Obama and Democrats in 2012.
