A day after a Republican congressman was quoted sneering about first lady Michelle Obama's "large posterior," a website devoted to publishing pictures about the first lady today displayed two Christmas shots of a very slim and stylishly attractive presidential wife.

Without comment, the photos at michellepictures.com bluntly rebuff the comments from Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner, which he has apologized for making.
In fact the pictures make the first lady appear school-girlish and skinny, proof that her workout regime and diet are working.
One, from White House photographer Lawrence Jackson, shows the first lady leading small schoolchildren around the first family's Christmas tree in the Blue Room. Dressed in black leggings and a dress, she looks very similar to her 13-year-old daughter, Malia.
In the second , she's shown in a sleek black jump suit dropping off toys from White House staff to the Toys for Tots drive at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, D.C. "She makes a lovely Santa, doesn't she?" says the website.
Sensenbrenner's comments were first reported by the website FishbowlDC . The lawmaker was overheard loudly complaining about the first lady's health campaign for kids. FishbowlDC today reports that the lawmaker plans to personally apologize to the first lady.
The website often produces fawning pictures of the first lady and president. One notable example was of the two "flirting" after a Marine One landing.
