I thought we learned from the capture of the reconnaissance plane that China captured with crew members. Why couldn't the CIA have some sort of self-destruct mechanism?

Would you not incorporate a self-destruct feature into a highly classified, autonomous, aerial surveillance drone you intend to fly over hostile enemy territory?
Before the Iran's Ahmadinejad and crew are finished this entire fiasco will have been transformed into an Ernest Scared Stupid demo reel.

Amazing obama has now cost us blackhawk helicopter secrets and now this drone... no one sees these "foul-ups" as very coincidental? We've had these technologies for decades, but within 3 years of Obama, the internal terrorist, in office, our enemies have our most coveted secrets? And all we say is, oh please give it back?? Next we'll accidentally give an a-bomb to the Iranians and North Korea. Obama is destroying this country on purpose from the inside out. Anyone notice the elevated "national emergency system" testing and Verizon tested "by accident" their "take shelter" text just the other day. He knows what's coming, he's plotting it so we are at war when election time comes around. His Obamacare takes hold in 2012, that will kill us financially and his who cares attitude about public safety will just plain kill us all. Whoever votes for him again should be ashamed!!

What else could you expect from a failed community organizing, affirmative action reject with absolutely no cahonnes and no experience and no leadership skills and certainly no love for this country. Cannot thank those of you who coronated this slow motion train wreck into office. He has turned out to be the single biggest joke in history. 2012 caqnnot come fast enough to evict this poseur from the public housing he occupies in DC.

Just curious. And btw, is Lieberman likewise "sneering" or snarling, or is that only a Republican thing in your unenlightened opinion?

The psychopaths Lieberman and Cheney never met a military action they didn't blood lust after. Why don't they go over there and fight if they are such tough guys. I've seen action and it's not a trifle to play with people's lives. If the drone was in Iran's airspace don't they have a right to shoot it down?
