How can our government possibly justify spending money to house a pair of damn turkeys in a prestigious hotel? Don't they realize that it's our money they're spending?

Eat the turkey. Or don't eat it. But don't go throwing away tax payer money on a stupid side show.

The turkey's who were pardoned by Obama this year were named Liberty and Peace which is fortunate for them. Had they been named Commerce and Free Enterprise they would have been cooked for sure.

This is the dumbest country on the planet.

Obother.... of KY 5:08PM November 23, 2011

Just a small correction: there were THREE turkeys in the White House during the ceremony.

anything that PETA dislikes is good for America.

What a waste of time and money! This is a worthless tradition that would not be missed. The President could better use his time by actually talking WITH the republicans rather than lying about what they are doing. Take a look at the bills dying in the Senate because Harry Reid will not bring to the floor for a vote! Spare me this farce!

Fat birds die of heart disease! Take note America! And Eat Your Peas! Afterall, Michelle O has mandated that order to all of us, and we should all be good slaves...ahhh citizens and follow their pristine examples of what good humans do.

Answer: Everything that Obama touches dies within one year.

Question: Name one thing that makes you go "hmmmmmmmmmm".

“They are exposed to music, hand feeding, cameras, and loud noises to prepare them”. Hm. Just like Gitmo…

FoolKiller of KY 1:56PM November 23, 2011

So, they were selected at birth and then subjected to loud music, noises, cameras to prepare them for the event. Where's PETA? Isn't that animal abuse? You'd think Gitmo had moved to Minnesota with all of that torture.
