I think they need to restrict developement near areas that are traditionally used for target shooting.

Keep those yuppies and their ankle biting pups in the city where they belong.

Would that be an "OOPS!" by Obama's government? Yeeaahhh!

This is the usual government BS. They want to restrict shooting on public lands, so instead they float the rumor that they are going to ban it. After the inevitable furor, they come back and say, "You won, we won't ban it, we'll just restrict it." Yeah, "we won," we just can't shoot where we always have anymore. Federal BS throwers.

The doublespeak krnchrman speaks of is typical bureaucratic vomit.

"promted by Drudge and Fox". HA! You think cnn, msnbc, et al are going to present it as the gov't taking away something else or focus on the girly man freaked out because he can HEAR gunfire?

It's too bad the drug runners and real criminals will never know about this law, and will continue to blast what they want.

Who cares anymore? We're all criminals now of AZ 7:03PM November 17, 2011

Using a gun on public land is the "only" activity that is protected by the Constitution! We are being told to please step to the back of the bus just like certain groups were told years ago in our nation. I say "Nuts".

Maybe O-Dumbo remembered what happened to Klinton when he went for Gun Control and is on record as saying it cost him the Congress. The Marxist know that Gun Control is a loser before an election

The BLM used the old bait and switch here. They claim that they now are not looking to close any lands tontarget shooting. However, in the next paragraph, they state some areas may be too close to skittish homeowners and will have to be closed. With this doubletalking bunch, most areas will be be too close and will have to be off limits. It appears to me that their goal of stopping target shooting is alive and well regardless of their devised statements.

Interesting last 2 wks. in D.C. Xmas tree tax ( & that's what it is if I don't get anything directly from it) & now the "infamous" Dept. of the Interior decision to "choose" a certain portion of the population to "traverse" Federal Lands, unimpeded, while hunters are NOT the chosen ones, now recinded.

B.O. must be running scared & desperately trying to "rein-in" his 200 Czars, all feverishly working to implement anything they think they can get past the Am. People!

How about people just using their heads and exercising some caution? The government can't and shouldn't have to wet nurse everyone.
